Imogen Nightingale If youre in the Inland Empire and craving real Texas BBQ, Spirit of Texas in San Bernardino is worth the trip. They smoke their meats for 4 to 14 hours with white oak and you can taste it. We tried the brisket sandwich on a fresh bun with cole slaw and cornbread straight out of the oven. Everything was tender, flavorful, and the portions were generous. Their house BBQ sauce hits that sweet spot, not too sweet or salty. The server even let us sample the other meats which was a nice touch. Sides are solid too. Mac and cheese, baked beans, green beans with turkey. For dessert they have peach cobbler and banana pudding. Place is clean, parking is easy, staff is friendly. A friend whos obsessed with BBQ recommended it and now I get why. Well be back.
