5 /5 Pete Salmon: Another keeper!
Weve been coming to Amour Amour for 12 years, and never a disappointment (although, we no longer live in San Mateo and havent been here for several years). The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and brings us back to our time spent in Barcelona, Spain. We were very lucky and got a reservation for New Years Eve (2025 to welcome in 2026).
The food was delicious, tapas the right size to share, and the service very good. The Sangria was very good and went well with all our plates. Highly recommended.
We started out with Sachet de Prosciutto, Black Truffle Mushroom on Crostini, and Beet Salad. Yummy all the way around, but wanted more greens and less cabbage with the Beet salad (personal preference).
We continued on with Escargot, Gnocchi (stuffed with black truffle), and Patatas Bravas. Again, yummy all around. Unfortunately, as weve gotten older our stomachs are no longer able to cram in all the delicious foods we want, and we left very satisfied, happy with our meal, the folks in the restaurant, and looking forward to our next visit to Amour Amour!
