Oystertown - Monterey

Rating: 4.8 /5
A. Semih Sunkar So cozy and refined atmosphere. All hosts are genuinely welcoming their guests with a broad and warm smile. The food is amazing! Uni (sea urchin) laden oysters are better than those in Hokkaido/Japan. I wish we were close by to enjoy this gem more often!

Michelle Krause Wow this is definitely our new go-to spot for Chinese food! Authentic, super delicious and fresh. The inside of this restaurant is nicely lit and very clean. Speedy service too the aunties working are very friendly. Food came out piping hot. Great portion sizes too! What we ordered: - Mongolian beef: so yum, tender beef - Fried chicken wings: crispy! - Dry fried green beans: flavorful and fresh - Pork & cabbage dumplings: fresh and delish - Salt & Pepper squid: crispy and nicely seasoned Will definitely come back to try more on the menu.

Lopez Mexican Food (Previously The Loco Frijole) - Mammoth Lakes

Jennifer Lam Great food and fantastic service (I think our server was Lizzie) at this family run Mexican spot. Good value for money too which is a pleasant surprise in a ski resort town, just look at the size of this carne burrito. Free chips and salsa when you sit down as well which is always a plus.

Nearsly Very unique tastes! Some of the ingredients in the drinks and food seemed a little weird on the menu but completely made sense after tasting it. Like....Mezcal with corn and coffee?? Totally great experience!

Coin & Candor - Westlake Village

Rating: 4.5 /5
Hugo Bolanos I had the summer menu at coin and candor celebrating my wife’s birthday . Hadn’t been here in quite awhile and I was happy to see the updated menu from years ago. Bread was on point , chicken liver was great to see on the menu . House pastas and seasonal salads were great . We had the scallops and the octopus and both were outstanding . Wine list are the gems of California . My brother had a great Gin and Tonic. Server nailed it . The steamed halibut with yuzu buerre Blanc was next level . The mignardise ar the end were a great ending
