From the rich red velvet curtains to the delicate flowers adorning each table, every detail was thoughtfully done. The ambiance was warm and romantic, made even better by the quiet atmosphere. No crowds, no chaos—just a peaceful, intimate experience. Our waiter was incredibly attentive and seated us in a cozy little nook right by a large window. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the vibe. Honestly, it felt like a hidden gem. Now for the desserts: The Pot de Crème (chocolate) was absolutely divine—smooth, rich, and decadent. A must-try. The Napoleon was just okay—visually beautiful, but it didn’t quite deliver the same wow factor. All in all, it is a lovely spot with ambiance and dessert to match. Highly recommend for a quiet evening or romantic date night.

Steve Reed Have been meaning to try the Workshop Kitchen for some time now and finally did brunch there on Sunday. The atmosphere and ambiance is wonderful. I can only imagine how nice it must be to eat here in cooler months and sit outside but the inside was very cool. The service was great and very friendly although a little slow. I think they were a little short staffed so totally understandable. The food was incredible. We shared a bunch of small plates and then shared some entrees. The brunch cocktail selection was amazing too. Overall very impressed with the experience and will happily come back and try dinner next.

Dom The food was phenomenal — from the 48oz tomahawk, lamb shank to the truffle mac and cheesecake, every bite was flawless. Our server, Omar, was amazing and made the night truly memorable. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Thomas McKinstry The Progress is the big brother to State Bird, which I also love. The atmosphere is elevated, and the service impeccable - but does not feel too fancy or snooty. The food was delicious and each dish had a variety of textures and tastes which complemented themselves. The highlights of our meal were the caviar potato cloud, the steamed black cod, and the half duck. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

Diana Sormani In town for wedding and had rehearsal dinner here. Stay is super, food good and there is a lot of space! Also, live entertainment.
