3 /5 Mariah M: My first time at Bistro Di Bufala was on a Sunday afternoon presented a mixed experience. The restaurant was not particularly busy, and seating was readily available. However, the initial seating process was somewhat disorganized. Despite being told we could choose any available table, we were asked to move from a four-person table to a smaller two-person table, even though the larger table was not marked as reserved. This was inconvenient, especially given our intention to sample a variety of dishes.
The cleanliness of the smaller table was also a concern. It felt sticky to the touch, and when we asked the server to wipe it down, we were told it had already been cleaned, which did not appear to be the case. The menus layout was confusing, as the drink selection and appetizers were not clearly presented, making it difficult to order beverages.
We ordered the Bianco pizza, which, at nearly $20, was underwhelming. The crust was very thin, and the pizza was cut into only six slices. I also ordered the steak sandwich, while my husband chose the burger with sweet potato fries. The steak sandwich was unconventional in its presentation and lacked a substantial amount of steak, making it feel more like a lettuce sandwich. On the other hand, my husband found his burger to be flavorful and enjoyable.
Overall, my experience at Bistro Di Bufala was adequate but not exceptional. I might consider returning to try their dinner menu, but I would hope for improvements in service and menu clarity.
We spent over $100 on 2 fountain beverages, 1 appetizer, and 2 entrees.
