3 /5 Anjanette Navarro: The staff is friendly and the service was prompt. The restaurant was clean. The food was okay. If youre looking for steak that will taste better than Sizzler, then this is the place for you, but you definitely arent getting top tier steakhouse melt-in-your-mouth steaks. The garlic butter was more garlic than anything else and I regretted getting it on my ribeye which was thin and tough and overcooked (I like carne asada, but thats not what I ordered). There wasnt much flavor to the meat itself. Again, much better than a place like Sizzler, but even Outback does better steaks than Black Angus just did. Even my husbands Filet was just okay and lacked much flavor. I will say I was disappointed after reading the reviews, too. I give it 3 stars because I thought the service was excellent and the people were friendly. Too many reviewers dock stars based on people instead of product so Im adding a star. Otherwise, this would have been a two star review.
