Trancas Steakhouse - Napa
Russell Fay An old style steakhouse with a homey atmosphere. The wife and I split an 18oz prime rib, and they graciously served us individual plates without a hassle.
The steak came with seasonal vegetables and a baked potato (or fries). We ordered half a ceasar and half a baby blue salad.
Norman claims they have the best prime rib in the world, and I think he may be right. The prime rib was perfectly done, and all the sides as well.
The restaurant/bar had a welcoming atmosphere, where kids felt right at home.
Price was commensurate with the rest of Napa.
