Taqueria Sonora - Sonora

Johanna Steensma I love taco Tuesday I love to ball on a budget. Carne Asada, Carnitas, and El Pastor are all quite good and there is a great salsa bar. Also the horchata and pineapple drink are good, if not a bit watery. The staff who works the front counter are very nice!

Tijuana Taqueria - Placerville

Graciela Padilla Could be quite possibly the best tacos de carne y de carnitas I’ve ever had in my life. The pozole was so mouth watering. Absolutely the best part of our trip on the way out from Tahoe. You have to go if you get the chance!

Maple Gardens - Red Bluff

arnon Kaseter Very friendly folks! They will give you large portion of foods, rice or noodles with two choice of selections for $10!!! Great quality and very clean. They use the same concept as Panda but much more affordable. Service is quick with no nonsense. Plenty of parking and Maple Garden is easy to find. Too bad I’m only passing through. I bought my food and took it to my hotel across the freeway. A few minutes from Best Western. This place is now on my list to visit when I travel on I-5. I’m glad I found this restaurant.

Tacos El Gordo - San Diego

Rating: 4.4 /5
Chen Dow Famous taco shop extremely popular with locals and tourists. Large selection of Tijuana style tacos are sold in a setup designed to handle the large crowd it attracts every day. You join different lines to get different tacos and go to the cashier to pay once you get all you need. Their adobada is crispy on the outside but not as salty as those sold elsewhere. The cabeza was really tender. Seating is outside and very limited, so prepare to eat it standing up.
