Sarah Wu I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this place! I admit I dont know a ton about moroccan cuisine, but I had the beef (slow cooked short rib) with couscous and it was pretty perfect. The meat was well cooked, service was fast and super friendly, and the bowl had so many flavorful additions (chermoula! Chickpeas! Almonds! Raisins! Pickled onions!). I would totally eat here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the oxbow public market

Jillian Imilkowski High quality sushi and sashimi that you can order or pull off the revolving bar. Bar prices are $3.95/plate for 3-4 pieces of sushi or sashimi. Also has deserts. Or you can pay to order whole rolls that are about the same price as the grocery store but actually delicious! I’ve been enjoying the Mings special role, seared white tuna, sashimi, and seared scallop with jalapeño. Also, they’re small hot saggy is HUGE if you ask me. Happy hour is end of the day and I think it’s buy 3 get 1 free on the bar. Don’t quote me on that.

Inna Patterson One of the best Indian restaurant in SoCal! Cali Chilly in Los Angeles is amazing! The food is so flavorful and fresh — every dish tastes homemade with real care. Great service, clean place, and awesome vibes. Highly recommend!

Usman Tufail On Thanksgiving eve, we decided to explore the flavors of halal cuisine at the Urban Skillet restaurant. Excited to try their diverse selection, we ordered a variety of their halal burgers along with some loaded fries. While I must say that I’ve experienced better beef burgers elsewhere, the ones we had at Urban Skillet were still quite satisfactory and had their unique appeal. What truly stood out during our visit, however, was the quality of service we received. Anna, our server, made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked in. Her friendly demeanor and accommodating attitude made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. It’s rare to encounter such genuine hospitality, and it definitely enhanced our overall impression of the restaurant.

The flavors are fresh and vibrant, and every dish feels made with care. The chips and salsa are always crisp and flavorful, and the entrees are generous in portion without skimping on quality. The staff is welcoming and attentive, making you feel like a valued guest every time. Whether you’re dining in with family or grabbing something to go, you can always count on a great meal here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great Mexican food in Merced!

gabi real authentic thai food! so flavorful ~ both the khao soi and pad thai are amazing! 10/10, only wish they were open more often!
