2 /5 Staudinger Kathryn “Kat”: I was in town for the holidays so on the last day we decided to go to brunch. We were greeted by a friendly face and even ordered mimosas. After getting our drinks we were almost immediately forgotten about and waited 20 minutes to even just order food. We proceeded to be passed up on getting more water, one of my sides was forgotten, my friends potato tacos were missing potato (crazy I know), we were never checked in on regarding taste/quality of food, for drinks, napkins, nothing. It seems as though everyone is over booked and scrambling. My favorite person was the bartender. She was so friendly and was working quick but with care for the drinks she made, which was a lot all alone.

5 /5 Ruth Jones: A charming restaurant in Bonita, CA. Usually very busy even on weekdays. Open only for breakfast and lunch; closes at 2 pm. Menu offers good choices; their specialty is Chilaquiles! If youre celebrating a special occasions; order the Mimosa Tower. 12 Mimosas, Orange, Mango, Strawberry, Pineapple...theyre all delicious!

5 /5 Heather Fuduli: It was a little challenging finding Camellia’s, but once we did it was magical. Such a cozy-chic gem in San Diego. The energy is warm, the food is delicious, and the service is genuinely top-tier. If you sit at the bar, ask for Ralph — he’s friendly, professional, and makes the BEST espresso martini with tequila. Absolutely worth the brunch experience

We got the Birria Melt & Chilaquiles Divorciados Review: While there are a lot of Mexican restaurants in San Diego, Camellias really sets themselves apart and hits the nail right on the head. I loved the design and decor, very focused on details. The menu had unique items & the prices were great. Cant wait to go back!

5 /5 Neil Tantay: First time here for brunch, they serve Mexican brunch style entrees. Had my sweet tooth so I tried the French toast. Looked great, however the brioche bread they used had cinnamon swirl in it so it was too sweet for my taste. Came with strawberries and mangos. My girl got the chilaquiles with birria. Lots of food and its your typical chilaquiles. Give it a try! I also got the horchaca, Mexican latte. This is delicious! Overall a great place to eat, I will try something else the next time I go here.
