Opened in the 80s.. feels like a real locals gem Casual vibe with surfboards on the walls, outdoor patio, and that laid-back energy. Portions are massive. Breakfast is delicious. Classic diner vibes but with a homey feel Expect a wait on weekends. Worth it for the no-frills, tasty brekkie Service is friendly and quick despite the crowds

Liz Q Excellent service at Norms! Kaylee was our waitress and she was very attentive, professional, and very pleasant throughout our visit. This is not my first time coming to Norms. I will tell you that every waitress and waiter that we come across has been phenomenal. The food is amazing and will not disappoint. If you’re in Riverside and looking for something to eat, Norms is your place to go!

Mike Farrar We have driven past this place for 30 years and finally stopped in. We saw all the pickups with stock trailers so we thought it would be a good spot. The service was great. The food was outstanding. The prices were reasonable. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. Its served over Hashbrowns. Just an overall great experience. It will be our new stop when traveling to the bay area.

D Villalobos My family and I recently moved into the neighborhood and stumbled across Redwood Cafe, and it has quickly become one of our favorite local spots. Although they’re only open from 6am–3pm, this is absolutely a place you can’t skip out on. They offer a great selection of breakfast and lunch options, plus a Greek menu that gives you even more to try. One of our favorite things is that they rotate different soups almost daily—there’s always something new and comforting. The owner, Leo, and his entire staff are truly wonderful and make you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The cafe itself is small, cozy, and full of locals who clearly love being there—you can feel the happy, community vibe while dining. Redwood Cafe consistently goes above and beyond with customer service. I often bring my mother with me, and they genuinely treat people like family. We love this place so much that we try to stop by at least once a week. Thank you for the delicious paninis, amazing soups, and the great selection of desserts. We will absolutely continue supporting local businesses like Redwood Cafe!
