Carrillos Mexican Food - (Near Clovis, CA)

Krystyn Azar Empanash is such a gem. Prices are fair for the area, and the empanadas are authentic and delicious! We tried the ground beef and the spicy chicken. I usually prefer ground beef, their spicy chicken was exceptionally good. Their chimichurri is a MUST. What really made the visit special was the service. Friendly and clearly proud of their food. They were sincerely appreciative that we stopped by, which was really heartwarming. The space itself is cozy too, with board games, books, and even a cute little nook for kids. We’ll definitely make a point to stop by whenever we’re in the area!

Paul Hernandez Havent been here in 30 years, and the restaurant still served its meals on large oval platters. I had the deluxe tostada. It comes w beans rice. Corn chips. Still serving traditional plates of Mexican food. This is a stick-to-your-ribs type of comida. It you are craving low-carb tortillas or fat-free alternatives, you best try somewhere else. Sorry i dived right in, and forgot the takes pics until I was done. Also great big tables for big groups.

Alex H The stake was probably the best stake Ive had at a dinner! We also had the stuffed French toast, which was great, but I would order it as a shareable item for the table. The servers are very nice and friendly, and the parking was accessible on a Friday morning. I would definitely recommend coming here, even if you live out of the way.

Michelle Davis As a born and raised Californian, i love coming to Norms when I visit from Texas. Split Pea soup on Saturdays is the best! Took an order to freeze and fly back with me lol.

Katia Martha Super busy when we went and on the pricier side but you get what you pay and wait for here. I went here with some friends for brunch and everything everyone got was delicious. I got the omelette that came with a side salad and toasted sourdough. I liked having the variety of some protein, some greens, and some bread. There’s indoor and outdoor seating- all beautiful! The line was somewhat long when we got there but moved fairly quickly. I would come back and recommend to friends!
