Casa Guzmania - Restaurant - (Near San Jose, CA)

Benny Hands down the best Spanish restaurant in town. We are regulars here and always bring our friends, family, and even our dog! Every single item on the menu is delicious. The service is exceptional—the servers are incredibly knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Since the staff is from Spain, it adds such a nice touch of authenticity, and it’s always great chatting with them about their lovely country.

Kathryn Kunz Didn’t come to Chula Vista expecting to have burgers, but saw this place, walked in and was greeted with the most amazing smile from the girl behind the bar, Keeran; we HAD to stay and try this place! We immediately felt welcome, as the service in this place is STELLAR! Had the Balboa burger, the buns are amazing;; buttery and soft! Burger patty was perfectly cooked, lettuce and tomato were extremely fresh! Let’s not forget about those garlic fries! WOW! Hand cut fries with just enough garlic awesomeness! To top it off, we got the Mazapan shake; there are no words for this decadent delight! As great as the food is here, the service is top notch! Keeran and the owner, didn’t get her name, we thank for a great time! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and will definitely back!

Gregory Fuerte We had a fantastic time at Joe’s Crab Shack in Oceanside! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out hot — the steam pots (now in bags not pots) and the BBQ crab legs were especially delicious. The service from the waitress to the manager was excellent, with staff who were attentive and friendly throughout. We even celebrated three birthdays at once, and the team made it feel extra special. Great food, great atmosphere, and wonderful service — we’ll definitely return. I included a picture of our view of the sunset from our table.

Michael Guynn Plata is a great addition to Janss. Mexican food, but with a bit of an elevated presentation. With this elevation often comes pretentiousness, but not at Plata; flavors and the comforting factor are not lost. Some of the dishes Ive tried havent been my favorite, there are some unique flavor combinations on the menu that dont always work for me. But theyre always executed well. The dining area is clean, modern, and comfortable, and the service is quick and friendly. Definitely a good option if youre in the area.

Rachel Talo The Misfit Bar & Restaurant is my go-to spot in Santa Monica for a fun and casual meal. The space feels energetic and welcoming, and the staff always make you feel at home. The menu offers a great variety, and the dishes are made with care and attention to flavor. I especially enjoyed the fresh seafood options and unique cocktails. It’s the perfect place to unwind after work or catch up with friends over great food and drinks. Every visit has been consistent, and I always leave satisfied.
