3 /5 Jo K: The atmosphere is traditional and fun. The services was great, but the food was just okay. Happened to be in the area so stopped for lunch. Was excited to see a specific lunch menu with more reasonability priced items and specials. There is complimentary chips and salsa. The salsas were great but the chips were stale and terrible. We settled on the specials. A fish tacos and ship quesadillas. Both were good but lacked flavor and seasoning. The stars of the show were the rice and beans. I would order a side of those and call it a day.

5 /5 Sl Am: Hands down the best mexican sit down restaurant in sunnyvale. Ive been going for 17 years and evrey meal is delicious. The workers are very nice and i love the steak burrito!! Very family owned feeling and is a sunnyvale classic!

4 /5 Dori: We enjoyed a nice dinner in this family owned comfy place. The food was very good although the chicken didn’t seem like it was grilled (asada) just plain chicken. The portions were good but everything needed salsa on it to have enough flavor. Steak was also just a little flavorless. The margarita was delicious. The service was excellent. We definitely enjoyed Casa Lupe!

4 /5 Rong Mao: This is a once-great Mexican spot in Sunnyvale that’s still worth a visit. We have been coming to this restaurant for years, and while it remains a solid choice, I’ve noticed a decline in food quality recently. I ordered my usual dish, the wet chile verde pork burrito, and the quality of the pork didn’t quite live up to what I remembered from past visits. That said, the restaurant still has a lot going for it. The service is excellent, friendly, attentive, and efficient. The atmosphere and decor is welcoming, making it a great spot for families. The crowd tends to be a bit older, I noticed. Overall, while I wish the food were as consistently great as it once was, it’s still a very good option for a casual meal out.
