Gregory Schwartz New favorite breakfast, if only it wasnt hours from home. Amazing service, fun decor, and really interesting menu items like the Breakfast Bowl and Tamale Omelet! Gravy was standout, as were the ranch potatoes.

Chalet Basque Restaurant - Bakersfield

Rating: 4.2 /5
Rakesh Samtani Its your typical Basque restaurant, but the frog legs and escargots are amazing, which is why we went to try it the first time. Definitely on the pricey side, limited menu, not much of a choice for appetizers, Entrees were good, comes with all the Basque sides, like salad and soup and vegetables, the sauces for the steak are extra, so keep an eye on that. But overall a good experience.

Amy Gu We ordered chicken wings, two different noodle dishes and mango sticky rice as dessert. Everything tasted delicious and in generous portions. Service was friendly and tentative. Very good restaurant in Palm Springs downtown!

Popotatoes Such a great Southeast Asian restaurant with romantic, vintage, and elegant décor that feels both comfortable and relaxing. I ordered the Chicken Satay, Scotch Egg, Nasi Goreng Pork, and Rendang Roti Wraps, each dish was flavorful, delicious, and well above average. Overall, the vibe, food, and atmosphere were all fantastic. A must-visit if you’re in the area.

Aunt Yvette’s Kitchen - Los Angeles

Lauren Donahoe My girlfriend and I took her parents for dinner on a Saturday night. Making a reservation is necessary since it’s a small restaurant so I was glad we did. We were seated right away and the service was excellent. I appreciated the elevated experience with the rose water to cleanse my hands, and the attentive bar and wait staff. We shared the vegan combo for four and ordered a beef protein. I found the food to be incredibly flavorful. Each dish was completely different than the next and it was great to have a unique bite every time. I appreciate the chef’s ability to take traditional Ethiopian dishes/cooking and add her own uniqueness. I’m excited to try other menu items next time.

Layer2chains Its was ok. The regular fries were good. My daughter and I both liked those. But the special Kiki fried chicken fries were just ok at best. The fried chicken had a good crunch but no flavor to it. It was a little sloppy and not really enough cheese sauce. But this is the first time I tried kikis so I might go back one more time just to try something else on the menu. The service was very nice and friendly so thats good.
