Pasquinis Fine Italian Food - Live Oak

Rating: 4.5 /5
FromHereToday Pasquini’s is some of the best food and service, we have ever had in our lives! Everything was cooked to perfection! The staff is super attentive and the place was popping busy! We ate there two days in a row and got to try lots of different items off the menu! The food is out of this world; with so many ingredients fresh from their garden on site and handmade everything! We got a recipe card and some oil and vinegar to take home some of the tastes of this fine establishment! The restaurant comes with a rich history and rich food and friendships! We highly recommend y’all visit this place and enjoy the food and atmosphere! Easy access right off the 99 and there was even parking for our motorhome, that we travel the US full time in! Thank you Chef Angelo and staff! 11 out of ten stars! We will be back!

Owen Robertson Visited this location as a last meal before heading off to college. The service was excellent, all of the staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. As a party of 9, we made a reservation, but the restaurant was pretty sparse, and quiet, so conversation amongst the table was easy. We got a fabulous seat at the window, with a full view of the Marina. The food service felt more like a premium meal, with bread being offered in the beginning, and because we ordered appetizers, those being served as a first course along with drinks. My relatives ordered some drinks, including cocktails and wine, and enjoyed them. I personally ordered a bowl of clam chowder as an appetizer, and it was very good. Only offered on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as soup of the day, it had an almost cheesy taste, more like a hint of Alfredo sauce, but a good balance of broth to body. As a main course, I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It was fantastic, and very creamy. The chicken was well-cooked, with a little bit of crunch due to some ingredient as a coating. The rest of the table also said they enjoyed their meals immensely. Very nice restaurant, would definitely visit again.

Paines Restaurant - Hollister

Rating: 4.5 /5
Alex Paines went above and beyond for my wedding reception at a residential location. They responded promptly and professionally to my emails and all the questions I had. Their two servers, Monica and Natalia were excellent. The food was amazing. Everybody loved the calamari and tri-tip most. I would highly recommend for dining in or catering for any events.

Don Hess We arrived at our reservation time to the serendipity of seeing a neighbor couple as we entered. We talked with them for about 20 minutes. Accommodating our tardiness, Amber then seated us at another table. The Brie starter is nearly dinner by itself with its varied flavors artfully presented and the pickled beet salad was also flavorful. Dinner was the potato gnocchi and bolognese. The gnocchi was excellent with subtle and intermingled flavors of peaches, lamb, gnocchi, and balsamic. She suggested a Malbec that paired well with the gnocchi. The bolognese is hearty and robust although not overpowering with the focaccia a perfect accompaniment. The presentation of the plates compliments the thoroughly enjoyable flavors of the food inviting you to savoy every bite with praises to the Chef. Gracing the meal was Ambers prescient management of our needs. She doesnt miss a thing, takes care of all her guests, and completes the dining experience. Enjoyable evening by any and all measures. Support your local choice.

Susan Downard Party of 5- a fabulous meal. Four of us had lamb chops and the other had eggplant parm with pasta. We appreciated the complimentary bruschetta and rolls with butter. The Malbec wine was excellent. Service was fantastic- our server was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the piano music. Free surface lot parking on both sides of the restaurant. The locals in my party recently rediscovered this neighborhood gem- noticed many regulars were dining there as they were greeted like old friends.
