1 /5 Ronnecia Boyd: I came here with my dad for drinks and liked it enough to take my husband for brunch and he liked it enough to go for drinks this past Saturday. This was the first time that on one greeted us. We had to move dirty dishes from the table to the next to us just to sit at a somewhat clean table. FYI, no one picked it up until closing.
We ordered the espresso martini because the last time we ordered, they were very good. Well, there was a different bartender and the drinks werent good. We sent them back and even paid an upcharge for a different liquor. We didnt taste the difference.
After my husband asked for simple syrup to sweeten the drink, the staff member seemed annoyed, which is crazy because we are paying. One of the staff members ( short, dark hair) came over and said they were closing. Meanwhile theres about 10 people on the inside enjoying drinks and doesnt seem to be leaving anytime soon. She began to put chairs away while we were TRYING to enjoy our drinks AFTER my husband added simple syrup to make it half-way decent. Never asked if we wanted something else.
We felt rushed and ignored, which is a different vibe we received in the past.
MY GUESS IS THE MANAGER/OWNER wasnt there.
I say this to say that employees will run your business into the ground. We are just two people, but we find a spot that we like and become loyal customers especially with small establishments like this.
It seemed more like a friends hangout for the employees friends when we were there this last time, hence, why we were not receiving the service we should have received.
