Diegos Restaurant - (Near Grass Valley, CA)

Crystal Soooo good and worth the distance to come here. Luis helped us with our order. I was certainly torn between a few items but he recommended the Botana de Cameron based on their signature Michelada sauce (they sale it there) and that I didn’t want rice that they use chicken broth in; he ordered the Pollo de Jalapeño. It did take a while for our order to be complete as it is a super popular restaurant and the outcome explains why. During covid you may place your order at the window or through DoorDash for pickup and delivery. The flavor? Ooooooh so yummy. If you are a vegan don’t order the Botana de Cameron because it is cooked on the grill and I did find pieces of meat. But the flavors are so explosive. The sauce itself I wished I purchased a bottle. We also ordered guacamole and chips and again absolutely delicious and there wasn’t any leftovers. A must try if you’re in Fairfield.

Konstantin Goldin Celebrated two birthdays, and a 30 year wedding anniversary. What an amazing warm place. Very welcoming. We got helped by Caesar and Thomas, they have been very hospitable, attentive. And - wow - Caesar gave my mother a chocolate bar for her birthday. This was obviously coming from him personally, and it really made my mother very touched. We got two complimentary Boston cream pies, and they have been delicious. Wish we had room to other other pies, they all looked very delicious. Unfortunately - we had no room! Highly highly recommend!

Jeff Bernard My wife and I both got the lasagna, and it was great. We were pleased because it was a good-sized portion, and it wasnt too rich with sauce as some can be. Its very clean and not a 5lb gut bomb. The beat salad was very large and perfect to share. I had a margarita which was good. Being that everything was tasty, Ill be back for a steak because I feel confident it will be worthy. I BBQ my own quite often, and so if I order one out, it better be good, Stay tuned... My photo was after we dug into the meal, so the salad was bigger than what it shows.

Alyssa Wilkison Excellent food. New and modern furniture. Perfect date night atmosphere. Roomy yet personable. Wait staff are knowledgeable and very people friendly. Cutest waitresses in Vallejo! Overall 10/10!! Drinks are excellent.

Marquise Martin We had Gloria as our server she was incredibly attentive, the portions are massive, the food is great, the drinks were spectacular, the booths are soft and the ambiance is really true to the diner aesthetic
