Julian K I absolutely love this place. I get the mac and cheese with bacon, my girlfriend gets the BOJ burger and we share garlic fries, and everything is always delicious. They also do a good job of rotating out drinks on their cocktail menu. My girlfriend has been able to try something new just about every time weve gone. Cant recommend this place enough.

Giorgio Mattiazzi I had an amazing experience at Granville in Burbank. The New York steak was absolutely delicious—cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Honestly, wow, I loved every bite! The beer paired with it was perfect, super refreshing. Great vibes, great food. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area!

MONARCA MEXICAN TAQUERIA - Hayward

Rating: 4.7 /5
Andrea Ceballos My husband and I just had dinner at Mornaca for the first time, and it was such a pleasant surprise. We learned that the restaurant changed ownership about six months ago, and the new owners are truly doing something special here. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with chips and refried beans topped with cheese. The beans instantly took me back, they have that authentic, comforting Mexican flavor, like something my abuelita would make at home. We were craving street tacos and ordered the carne asada and tripa (tripe). What really stood out was that they asked how we wanted the tripa cooked. We asked for medium well, and it was hands down the best tripa we’ve had in the area, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I also ordered an agua de jamaica, which was absolutely perfect, not overly sweet. The owner even offered to add sugar, but it honestly didn’t need it. I usually never finish an agua fresca, and I finished every last sip. The owners are from Michoacán and Jalisco, so you already know the food will not disappoint. As a nice bonus, while you’re waiting for your food, they have games you can grab and play at the table. Overall, Monarca Mexican Taqueria is definitely a place worth checking out. Delicious food, thoughtful service, and a welcoming atmosphere, we’ll definitely be back.

Big Vics BBQ - Turlock

Rating: 4.4 /5
Marcus Hinojoz The brisket was incredibly flavorful. It was juicy and tender as hell. The ribs were fall off the bone and had great flavor even on their own. When paired with their BBQ sauce, which has a unique peppery, smoky, vinegar-forward taste, it cut through the richness of the brisket perfectly and added another layer of flavor. The mac and cheese was really good. You can tell butter is used, and the cheeses were flavorful and well balanced. The chipotle beans were decent overall, but I felt neutral about them. Shoutout to Mike for being awesome. I didn’t check the closing time and he was already cleaning up, but he called me while I was right around the corner and still took care of me. I will absolutely be back to try more of their menu.

Ryans Reviews A huge group of us came here as a wedding party on top of the restaurant being completely busy they handled us quite well. The service was extraordinary and the food was so good every single one of us really enjoyed what we got. I don’t quite remember what pricing was like but no matter what it was. It was probably worth it. I highly recommend coming here for any meal or just a drink seems like a lot of people come here to enjoy themselves at night. If I’m ever in the area, I will be back.

Mary T Popped in twice in the last week. Both times at Happy Hour which for the winter season runs 3pm-closing. Friday our bartender was Jeff who made very good Old Fashioned and guided us to the Ceviche Tostadas. Excellent. Fresh fish with a light salsa on crisp tostadas. Our second pop in was a Tuesday night after a movie at Marina Pacifica (short walk over but theres plenty of parking in the lot at SPFM. Tonight Brandon poured some good Old Fashioneds as well. We checked out the Chowda fries - crisp and with a light chowder sauce on them. We did 3 tacos (a Tuesday & Wednesday special:3 for $12.99 and you can mix and match). Two fish one and one pork belly. All great. We didnt need it but we ordered some guacamole (fresh made) and chips. Ricardo the manager stopped by to check if we were good. Quiet evening there but I highly recommend this place especially during the quiet winter months. Atmosphere a bit on the franchise side but otherwise good.
