Hurrica Restaurant & Bar - Redwood City

Rating: 4.7 /5
Gionna Very nice restaurant with unique food options. The cocktails and all the menu items I tried are delicious. I highly recommend the calm chowder and they try anything seasonal. I went during the summer and again during the fall and wanted this lemon dessert but it was gone. The fall dessert was just as delicious. The only thing I didnt like was they allow dogs inside the restaurant and one was sitting on the fabric bench at the table. I am highly allergic so that was disappointing. Otherwise I love this restaurant and would like to return in the future and highly recommend it.

Pier 88 Boiling Seafood & Bar Temecula - Temecula

Rating: 4.5 /5
Reinhold Schrader II Pier 88 in Temecula is an absolute gem for seafood lovers. From the moment we sat down, our server Paola made the experience truly special. She was warm, attentive, and offered spot-on recommendations that elevated our meal from good to unforgettable. We ordered the Pier 88 Dinner Special, tossed in their signature 88 Special Seasoning with a medium spicy kick, and it was nothing short of perfection. The flavors were bold, savory, and addictive without being overwhelming… just the right balance of heat and zest that leaves you wanting to crack open another bite. The freshness of the seafood paired beautifully with the seasoning, and every bite had that “just one more” factor. Between the excellent food and the welcoming service, Pier 88 has earned a top spot on our dining list. It’s the kind of place where you leave already planning your next visit. Hungry for more, we’ll definitely be back again soon.

Avais Sherani This is a big branch of the most popular Pakistani restaurant in the Bay Area. This is a nice branch with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant gets very busy on weekends for all times including brunch, lunch, evening, and dinner. The menu is vast with plenty of options for snacks and meals. There are both meat based as well as vegetarian options, which are smartly written in green ink. The food tastes really authentic, the portion sizes are super generous, and the prices are relative to the quality and quantity. The staff are very nice, despite being really busy they make sure to attend to you. Food is also delivered pretty fast. Seating is only assigned by the staff and even at busier hours they do it quickly. Highly recommended for good quality Halal Pakistani food.

Shrimp vs Chef - Thousand Oaks

Rating: 4.8 /5
Joshua Caballero My favorite food truck grew up and is now turned into a brick and mortar. Tucked away in a little unassuming strip mall lies this gem that serves up a fusion of california-Asian, Mexican-Hawaiian inspired shrimp based dishes but there are a few veg options in there if you are so inclined. Everything on the menu is insanely good but my favorites are the shrimp and pork al pastor burrito, garlic noodles and the katsu, my wife loves the poke nachos. Watch their Instagram for the limited specials that happen regularly and are not on the menu. The owner Temple is one of the nicest guys around and deserves your business. Trust me, youll be coming back for more.
