2 /5 Vanessa Aguilar: The restaurant is in a small building, which might mean a wait during busy times. Fortunately, there were two open tables when we arrived, so we got lucky on our first visit. Our group of four included myself, and here’s what we experienced: My mom ordered the carnitas, and she found it to be horrible. I tried the chile verde, which was okay but not spicy. My husband had the sope and described it as "eh." My dad didn’t enjoy his food either; he ordered the machaca. So, based on our experience, my rating reflects that only one out of the four dishes was somewhat decent. I didn’t eat the salad that came with my meal. We got there around 11 a.m., and my mom wanted to order the pozole, but it wasn’t available until 11:30 a.m., so just a heads-up on that. They wont serve it to you until 1130. The rice was smoky and burnt, which wasnt appealing. Additionally, my husband ordered the chabela drink, which came with shrimp on the rim. However, they weren’t properly cleaned, as they still had the digestive tract intact and tasted watered down. If you are particular about food quality, this place might not be for you.

5 /5 Fulldistance Going: A very casual no frills simple spot. They serve tasty flavorful dishes … just like home …. The flank steak and the sides were delicious. The service is fast and friendly. Coffee is good.

5 /5 McLaughlin Douglas “Doug”: This restaurant has some delicious Mexican dishes. The carne asada was so tender and flavorful. This dish also I had a cheese enchilada, beef flauta, beans and rice. The staff was very friendly and patient.

4 /5 Gilly Vuioo: Walked in hungry and left stuffed—the portions were huge and the carne asada was packed with flavor, super juicy too. Chips and salsa came out fast and were honestly some of the best I’ve had in a while. Only downside was the wait; took a bit to get our food even though the place wasn’t full. Service was friendly though, and the vibe felt super local and chill, like the kind of spot regulars go to every week
