Eureka! - (Near Santa Barbara, CA)

4 /5 Rob Strotman: This Eureka restaurant, located in the downtown Santa Barbara area, had very above average food. Not great, but very good. The service was a bit lackluster. It was not very busy at this location in the late afternoon early evening, but the staff was moderate at best. They definitely need a bit more training to go by tables after theyve ordered and ensure that everything that the customer needs is present. That was not done so water remain unfilled and drinks remained unreplenished. That is not any type of rudeness, just a bit what I would call lack of focus. Overall I would give it 4 stars out of 5 And if they improve their training for customer service I would bounce it up to 4.5 stars. Unlike the other Eureka establishments I have been to, this place was not overly loud, which is a problem at the others, notably Claremont. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you happen to be in the area.

5 /5 I: The food was delicious! The burgers were on point, and the cheesey truffle fries made a great addition to my jalapeño egg burger. The servers were nice but only came by once to check on us and we were waiting for a while after we finished our meal, place wasnt busy but to be fair my family and I were haveing good conversations so they may have not wanted to interrupt. We will give them the benefit of the doubt. Either way 10 out of ten would recommend. Perfectly located on the outskirts of the plaza. Great for relaxing meals while still not being to far away from the crowds and shopping.

1 /5 Jaylia: I came here the other Nov 1 around 9 pm with a large group and at first our experience was great. The host was friendly and let us charge phones and it was a great atmosphere. Unfortunately our server did not grace us with anything friendly. He rolled his eyes at us, purposely ignored us, and severed us dirty water cups. We even found a fly in one of the group drinks. His energy towards us completely ruined the experience. We were a group of mixed races( mainly black) and we felt like we were targeted as he didnt treat the other tables around us the same. He was very friendly( making jokes) and not ignoring the other tables. I believe the servers name was Juan. I have nothing against the establishment, but there wasnt a manager available for us to speak too and we hope that something like that doesnt happen to anyone else. We did inform the host( who was kind and friendly ) and he was shocked by this behavior, but since hes not in management we knew there was nothing much he could do. I honestly didnt have time to really try the food, because I didnt feel comfortable staying after finishing my drink. Its very unfortunate to be in an establishment where you dont feel welcomed. Hopefully they can provide more customer service training on their staff and in the service industry its best to treat each customer the same.

4 /5 Danny Macias: Nice fun place staff was very friendly and helpful. We showed up with a large party on Grad night, and the manager made it happen for use. Thank you, sure, for saving the night. Open till midnight, so if you need a nice dinner spot, this is it nice bar and craft beer selection.
