Flores Corte Madera - (Near Corte Madera, CA)

Gigi Loved finding this hidden gem in the middle of the mountains last summer. It immediately became my favorite new restaurant when visiting Lake Almanor. We returned several times throughout the fall and couldnt wait to get back to the lake this summer to enjoy more culinary experiences at The Sandpiper. Its so clear that chef Jack takes great pride and care in determining what to include in each dish and how they are prepared. Jack has designed a menu full of creative pairings using fresh ingredients, flavorable balance of spices, and elevated finishing touches and presentations. Every meal continues to exceed my expectations. If there is a special of the day, it is an absolute MUST have and ALWAYS delicious. The family owned restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere with attentive, friendly service. Ive noticed lots of repeat customers walk through the doors each night. I will absolutely be back again and again. I highly recommend this restaurant, you wont be disappointed. P.S. Please dont tell my grandma that Jacks homemade apple pie is my all time favorite!

M S What a delightful restaurant. We had reservations and were greeted warmly from the get go. The restaurant has a cozy and pleasant vibe. The food is so good, as the wine choices. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. We definitely will come again when in Carmel.

maryam karimi This restaurant stands out for its authentic, traditional Persian atmosphere and decor, but the food is the true highlight. The Gheymeh Bademjan and Jooje Kabob were both incredible—easily some of the best I’ve had in the USA. While the rest of the menu is solid, those two dishes are absolute must-tries for anyone seeking an authentic meal.

HK Beef rib is huge, but soft. tastes great! Staffs are friendly. Vibe is pretty cool. You will have to use physical card instead of Apple Pay

Vanessa Erickson We are travelling from Australia. We have to say this is one of THE best Chinese we’ve ever had!! And we’ve eaten at a few fantastic ones! The service was friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly. Huge portions (great for hungry teens) and super fresh. Highly recommend! 10/10+
