Okayama Steakhouse - Chula Vista

Rating: 4.8 /5
kiara walker Okayama is a wonderful family-owned restraunt with great staff and amazing food. Even on opening night when they were very busy and had many customers lining up to be served on their first day open, staff stayed on top of parties and tables and checked on customers regularly. There was a but of a wait for the chef (about an hour) but they served drinks and appetizers within 5 or 10 minutes after being seated, so the time went by fast. The food was phenomenal and rivaled Benihanas, in my opinion the steak and other menu items were much better even! Plus Id rather give money to a small business with local ownership than a chain any day. Even on opening day when most restraunts are a mess, dinner was great and they were definitely ready to open!

The State - Riverside

Rating: 4.3 /5
A & B Life Adventures My wife and I choose on the restaurant, The State after walking around downtown Riverside. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent from the moment we walked in the door. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We noticed all the staff were respectful and provided great service. The drinks and the food came promptly. We ordered the chicken and steak, which was delicious. The entrees were flavorful, high quality and excellently prepared. The State had a great vibe with a nice bar area. It is a great place to come with any size group. We appreciate the great experience at The State. If you are looking for a superb place to eat in downtown Riverside, definitely check it out.

Luis Santos Only place in downtown stockton that doesn’t feel like downtown stockton. Atmosphere is great, staff are friendly. Love the coffee, pastries and other food.

Edwins Carmel - Carmel-By-The-Sea

Rating: 4.2 /5
Adrianne James Datiles My wife and I were visiting the area, and being a Filipino-American couple were excited to find a restaurant serving Filipino food! We ordered the lumpia and Kare Kare. We were very happy with the lumpia, they were smaller in size than what we are used to but the sauce was delicious and flavors were amazing! The Kare Kare on the other hand was milder in flavor compared to other Kare Kare that I have had in the past. However, the eggplant was cooked beautifully and my wife enjoyed the vegetables The service was excellent given that there was only one server helping out at least eight different tables. Finally, the bathroom was clean however it seemed to be a work in progress. Overall, I would still like to visit again and try some of their other dishes. Next time I’m in the area. And I do think that based off of what we’ve tasted so far, it is a good introduction to Filipino cuisine.

Attraversiamo - Brentwood

Olivia Villanueva If I could give this place a higher than 5 star review I would. The farm to table experience is nothing short of spectacular. The food is always fresh, the staff warm and welcoming and the cocktail of the month is a delightful surprise always made with local in season ingredients. You can’t go wrong with any choice on the menu. Always ask what the catch of the day is and their rotating dessert choices. Minor complaint is that when it’s fully booked, the indoor seating does get very loud. No matter that observance, this place has got it all. Absolutely incredible all around.

Pk David “Lentil” Small town chinese & Thai restaurant with a lot of charm. Food was great, especially being so far from a big city. Walnut prawns were my favorite but everything was good. Will be back when passing through in the future.
