Brick Coffee House Café - Marysville

Rating: 4.5 /5
Ela Palaweña We went there for the first time. The place was cozy. They have outdoor seating so we sat outside because the weather was nice that day. The food was delicious. My friend and I both ordered the brick skillet and it was yummy. The service was good. Ordering the food at the counter was fast. Everything in the menu looked fair price. I had hot chocolate, I just wished they put whipped cream on top. They either dont offer it or they forgot to ask me if I want one. But Id come back and bring my family, for sure.

The Kroft | Anaheim - Anaheim

Rating: 4.3 /5
Bianca Curutan I met up with a friend at Packing House while visiting Anaheim. We walked around for a bit to browse the different food options available - since it was a weekday during the day, it wasnt busy and we were able to take our time. I ended up circling back to The Kroft because their sign caught my attention. French dip? Yes please! We ordered our food to-go and grabbed a table closer to the center of the Packing House, since The Kroft is tucked away downstairs and feels a bit darker being farther from the windows. I ordered just the sandwich with no sides, plus a drink, and it ended up being a good amount of food for me. The sandwich (and dip) itself was on the richer, heavier side, but was incredibly tasty and satisfying. I would definitely want to try to come back the next time I am in the area.

Avenida Restaurant - San Mateo

Rating: 4.2 /5
Tim Filipino gf took me here to try my 2nd Filipino restaurant ever. I usually prefer hole in the walls over elevated places, but its Filipino approved (also saw many other Filipinos there). Made a reservation the day of, but it was actually not needed. Lots of empty tables when we arrived just fore 1pm on a Saturday and we were seated right away. They have both indoor and outdoor seating (with heat lamps). Parking is mostly paid (street and garage), but you can walk a few blocks west for free parking as well They started us off with some complimentary chicharrone and we ordered the sugba kilaw $20, chicken inasal $16, beef shank kaldereta $24, bangus sisig $17, garlic rice $4.75, halo halo milky ice $14. I liked how all of the food came in small or large portions, allowing you to try a variety. We ordered all small portions. All the food was good. Prices seemed fair for the quality and portions. The kaldereta and sisig were my favorites. Food came out pretty quickly. Service was decent. Clean, large sized restaurant. They have a full bar as well. I would go back and try more dishes or hit up their daily HH from 4-6:30pm

Jernigans Tap House & Grill - Nevada City

Bay Walker Great lunch for 5 of us reconnecting. Burgers, beer and fries were all well prepared and very tasty. They have a broad menu with many options available. The server was terrific. It was a bit noisy outside with other patrons and music.

Paula Stubblefield My SO said he loved everything about it. We were there for breakfast on a Sunday. We were told an hour wait. Our wait was less probably 30-45 minutes. The restaurant was packed and a little noisy. There is only one restaurant for women. However the diner is not that big. We had the waffle breakfast and the French toast breakfast. I would order either one again. You get eggs and the meat of your choice. Hash browns and drinks are separate.
