Ivan Jiang 4.8/5 It was such a delight to eat at the Fat Lady! I’ve been meaning to try it for the longest time as I’ve heard it is a must try Oakland establishment. The food was outstanding - we ordered the steamed mussels and the hot spinach salad as our appetizer. Each of us also got the prime rib plate that’s available on Fridays and saturdays as our entrees. All the flavors and seasonings were done perfectly! I also enjoyed the boulevardier cocktail that was very similar to the traditional Negroni. Finally, I cannot appreciate enough how they got the doneness of our prime rib steak correct! Medium rare is truly medium rare here, and we did not have to send it back to the kitchen. The portion was extremely generous and the service was impeccable. Regarding the restaurant ambience itself, we were lucky to still dine in the Christmas/ festive decor! The restaurant is super charming and had an eclectic curation of vintage art pieces. Highly recommend this if you ever need a date night.

Josh Nicole took care of us for breakfast. She was as delightful as the food. Their breakfast menu has several omelet options, they have some sweet options like pancakes and french toast, as well as some "favorites". We had an omelet and a breakfast burrito. Both were too big for us to finish. We will be back.

Krystal McMinn Absolutely amazing! Beautiful decor, with a very open and spacious feel. Courteous and attentive staff. Great red wine, delicious food that was of great proportions! We ordered the fettuccine Gorgonzola. Perfectly sauced. It tasted like all fresh ingredients, perfect ratio. The bread was hot and ready for the fresh butter provided. Between the wine, pasta, and bread; I was quickly satisfied and too full to eat more! The leftovers heated at home the next day was almost as good as it was freshly made. I will definitely be back to try more, as their menu has so many tasty options to try. Thats the only problem, trying to choose just one item! High quality in every regard, I definitely recommend!

John Haberkern My friend, and I stopped off for lunch today. We were immediately greeted by Carla, who sat us down and explained what the specials were. I ordered the lunch special, chili Verde enchilada with rice and beans. It was delicious. My friend and I both decided we would come back here very soon.

Jarrod Riggins I started coming here a few months ago and I fell in love with the food, staff and atmosphere, great music and great vibes. . I’ve worked in restaurants and have overseen many of them for the last 25 years and still do, and let me tell you, they are spot on. I love it here!! Lauren is my favorite with how she sees the needs of the guests and is always in a great mood. Honestly, the whole staff is amazing, if I knew all their names I would say them all. This is my new favorite spot in town and I recommend this place over any other pub in town. I look forward to coming here and it makes my day. Great location, great happy hour and the best pub in Chico! Come visit them, you won’t regret it!!
