Jenn Sanchez I just want to give a huge shout-out to Alyssa, the manager at Marie Callender’s. She is truly one of the best managers I’ve ever encountered. Every time I come in, she’s welcoming, patient, and completely on top of everything. You can tell she genuinely cares about her team and her customers. Alyssa runs the restaurant with professionalism, kindness, and real heart. She’s the type of manager who doesn’t just supervise….she jumps in, helps, supports, and keeps everything running smoothly even on the busiest days. Her positivity makes the whole environment better, and it shows in the way the staff works together and how customers are treated. It’s rare to find someone who can balance great leadership with genuine warmth, but Alyssa does it effortlessly. She deserves all the recognition for the hard work she puts in every single day. Thank you, Alyssa, for going above and beyond and making every visit a great experience. Marie Callender’s is lucky to have you!

Trending Nordic I had a really great meal. I had the three item plate with an additional item for $6. I had brisket, ribs, hot link sausage, and bbq chicken. It came with a cornbread muffin and one side. I chose french fries (wedge style). After dinner I had the brownie and ice cream desert. My friend had a similar meal but with catfish. This meal was really good and the service was also good. Update: Im not changing the stars but I was disappointed on my last visit. I ordered a burger medium and it came out like charcoal. Medium is light pink in the middle. They took the burger off my bill and they were friendly about everything. I was told they have to cook well done which might be a company policy OR it could be a cook that hasnt a clue how to cook medium. Its not only this restaurant. I dont know if its a regional custom or not but so many places literally burn the burger and for egg dishes burn the eggs. Stop overcooking food.

Jason Martinez Man, a little hidden gem in Old Sac. Definitely a dive bar with some sticky floors and weird lighting but dang if that burger wasn’t one of the best things I ever ate in Sacramento! Got the spicy guac burger with Negra Modelo. Highly recommend. Patty was cooked to perfection. Charred edges without the whole patty being burnt. Healthy portion of guac. Definitely did not skimp on burger portions. Sooo delicious. Fries were great too. The bartender taking orders was great too. Shoutout to the bearded guy in the Raiders hat. Wish I got his name but he was hustling like crazy but was on top of it. Awesome service! Overall definitely recommend this spot! It might be surrounded by touristy shops but this is a truly good spot!

Tianling Wan The Chicken Marsala is great. The wine sauce is slightly heavier than I thought and the knife is somehow difficult to cut, but overall I like it a lot. Will come back to try other dishes. Comfortable outdoor seating too and nice service.
