Hazies - (Near San Francisco, CA)

S. Raziq Mohideen Petra was recommended as one of the top halal spots in SLO, and Im glad I listened. I wasnt too sure what to expect from the outside, but after walking in I was pleasantly surprised by how clean, organized & stylish the interior is. The service was fast & friendly, and after a short wait my BBQ Cilantro Chicken pizza arrived. It was fresh & delicious. The Rosewater Pudding was a sweet way to end the meal. The meal was pretty affordable too. Some notes for Muslim diners. Petra has a rather extensive bar, in case youre wary of alcohol. There is no pork on the menu, but the beef pepperoni & Canadian turkey bacon are not halal. Every other meat is halal though. Overall, I think Petra is a must for anyone (Muslim or not) visiting SLO.

Yogesh Kasat Very authentic Indian food! We came here on our redwood trip and was amazed with the quality of food in remote area. Naan was nicely done, jeera rice, dal was very good. Paneer tikka masala was the best.. Service was great too. No wonder why they have such a good reviews. Thank you guys for awesome food. Sheru was our host

Larissa Kiefer Amazing food, incredible space, and wonderful staff! I had been wanting to try Irish curry for the first time and went here and they did not disappoint one bit. My friend got the fish and chips which was also really good. Great portion sizes too. I had been here previously for drinks and both times I’ve been amazed by the space and the beautiful bar. They also host great events - last time I went there was line dancing with plenty of people. Amazing experience all around!

Anna Teran I can’t speak for staff and the restaurant itself cause I always order through door dash but their garlic pesto sandwich is absolutely amazing I ordered a sandwich from another store in Antioch and I was actually shocked and disappointed cause that’s ones food tasted nothing like the one in Stockton and i order from the Stockton store quite often keep up the good work !

Tiffany B The happy hour pricing isnt as great as I remember. It was only $2 off. However, for a meal in Carlsbad its not bad. Im actually still full from the Papagayo flat bread. I also ordered the mussels which didnt hit like this other sushi place. The bartender was gracious enough to remove it from my bill. The sangria was delicious. Bathrooms were clean. Theres a semi private dining area. The restaurant itself is beautiful and I love that its open.
