Hectors Snow Cones Stop - (Near Ukiah, CA)

5 /5 Deb Rock: Hector has been un business since 1999! Hector and his daughter offer much more than sno cones. They have great kittle seating area, met and yucked it up with some locals. Made off with a big bag of chips, a Mojito lime sno cone and a kick ass huge Carnitas "quesadilla" really loaded.. hotsauce, sourcream and guacamole included. $2o well spent. 2 meals.

4 /5 Val Rodgers: I’m so obsessed with these snow cones that I’ll come up with any excuse to go to Costco in Ukiah, an hour from home, just so I can grab one. I order the exact same flavor every time. At this point, I’ve had enough of them to say with absolute certainty: when the older man makes it, it’s the best snow cone on earth. Perfect texture. Perky. Icy. Heaven. But when the younger woman makes it, it turns out like snow cone soup. Very wet, no structure, just… wet slush. I’m assuming the snow all comes from the same machine, so I have no idea how his are so firm and refreshing while hers are so soupy. The flavor’s great either way, so it’s still a treat, but for me it really throws the whole texture off and I’m bummed. Usually I go alone, so it’s not a big deal if it’s a “meh” day. But one time I hyped these up like crazy and brought my teenager along. She handed us two cups of soup, and I had to convince him I wasn’t lying about how amazing they usually are. Still obsessed. Just hoping I catch the right snow cone artist next time.

5 /5 Brigitte Lowther: The best Sno-cone I have ever had in my life... They have at least 50 or more flavors to choose from, you will want to go back to try a few so go with a medium size drink, the large was way more than I could handle! And they also have really good Mexican food with a small and cozy outdoor patio. Loved it!

5 /5 Jye Turk: I travel to Ukiah for work on a regular basis, have tried the food up and down the city and area. This spot has DELICIOUS tacos. I put a lot of weight on rice and beans and theirs is some of the best Ive had, near par with el paso/border town Texas. VERY unassuming looking food truck with a very confusing name. A mandatory stop for me on every trip here.
