Soul Good - Tulare

Kristin Dobbins Once you find this hole in the alley spot, you won’t be disappointed. Tulare is over here keeping delicious secrets. There is designated customer parking, outside-only eating, and a restroom available for customers. All the magic happens inside the brick establishment while you wait outside (or in your vehicle) to keep warm. Be warned, this is not fast food and they don’t claim it to be but it IS worth the wait. If you have time and an appetite, stop by this place and get treated and fed like family.

Claire McManmon Delicious and fast service. Coffee wasnt the best but the free refills were great. The real standout was the Sourdough pancakes. I got them with seasonal fruit and whipped cream (bananas and walnuts this week) and splurged on real maple syrup. Super delicious and reasonably priced.

Nalina My mom flew into town and took me here for my birthday and we had a ball. Drinks, appetizers, entree, and dessert. Everything on the menu looked so good, but this is what we got (pictured below). The food was amazing and came out hot and fresh. I especially loved the dessert (white chocolate bread pudding). The service was also fantastic. We were checked on very frequently. The location is gorgeous! I anticipated a little but was greatly surprised with how much so. There were turtles outside in the pond. The ambience is great. We met the sweetest lady here and bonded (as easy coasters) over the grits. Every time my mom plans to come, she mentions going back here.

Jane Doe We came here to check out their baked goods and we saw more than what we expected. They were serving Gelato, Tiramisu, cakes, cannoli, bomboloni (donut filled with Nutella or Cream), and many more. We indulged by getting a few and they were all delicious. The latte just completed it. We saw a lot of people ordering the pizza. Thatll be our next item to order when we return. This place is definitely going to be our "go to" when were around the area. The place was fairly busy for a Saturday afternoon. They have indoor seating and glad we were able to grab a table (in the bakery side at least). The bakery side (left side of the restaurant) is a walk in and you order at the counter. As for the entree items, well find out when we return. The place wasnt loud, so you are able to talk to someone comfortably at your table. Kid friendly.

Kabrea Brooks I really enjoyed my first time here. I got the lobster roll, a bottle of sparkling, and the chowder. The lobster roll was amazing and was well portioned, service was great especially when I mentioned my fries were a bit too hard our waitresses was very apologetic. I didnt get them replaced which i didnt need but i will be back to try them again soon!
