Sharn Kung Food is good and portions are huge. Quite popular so sometimes there’s a wait. When it’s busy the service can get a bit slower, especially if you’re in the back room. Good assortment of kid options. Margaritas are on the sweeter side. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Mikes Grill - Hanford

Rating: 4.7 /5
Computer Guardian Dropped by for dinner while visiting Hanford from Tulare. The legendary 6th star was earned yesterday evening! My wife had the OMB and I had a pastrami burger. Well I guess now we cant have either one of these anywhere else? Which is awesome! Exclamation because weve been looking for a great regular spot since we moved here. The atmosphere inside it was very nice. Its not a huge establishment so we expected a lot of noise. There wasnt. And to be able to sit across from someone and talk, not compete with background music, was amazing. The person behind the counter who would take our order had just gotten done storing her wings in the back closet. (After Im done, youll understand). So we entered and approached the counter, the menu overhead. A woman approached and we received a welcome. I let her know it was our first time so we probably need a minute with the menu. The smile that she returned let me know that not only did she understand the need to read a menu, but appreciated my response. Not sure if it was her kindness or the whole vibe of this place, but we were both able to see what we wanted on the menu almost immediately. Then shared a good laugh with the same woman over how quickly we had decided. Probably at this point needless to say, the ordering process was a breeze. She asked us for a name and we were off to the table. (After we ordered, we saw the same woman visit another table to see how they were doing. That led into a conversation on local happenings. And when she left the table, the people sitting there continued to talk about what they had talked about with her. So it wasnt just a polite filling the silence conversation. It was a real one.) There was no wait longer than what was needed to cook what we ordered. And even though we had given a name, we were surprised when the food was delivered to the table. As you guessed, we loved what we ordered and we loved what each other ordered. If youve been missing out on quality food, atmosphere, or people... Look no further. In fact, just come here anyways so you can finally realize what you all have been missing...

Il Tegamino - Carmel-By-The-Sea

Rating: 4.5 /5
Jason Van Camp If it werent for the terrible meal my wife attempted, but did not finish, at another restaurant earlier in the evening, we might never have stopped in to Il Tegamino. However, since she was still hungry and very unsatisfied, and knowing how she can get when she is HANGRY (just kidding, babe!), I knew this was a problem that needed to be solved. With no reservation, and a double-stroller in tow, finding a table at a restaurant during peak dinner hours in Carmel-by-the-Sea on a weekend started seeming like an impossibility, but we happened to luck into a patio table here at Il Tegamino. Having already dined myself, I sat this one out, content to keep the kiddos busy while my wife enjoyed her bruschetta and a glass of wine. Although we didnt get the "full experience", in the short time we were there, we conversed with two different couples who were seated around us, both of which claimed that this was their favorite restaurant in Carmel, and favorite Italian restaurant in general. In fact, one of the men, a self-professed former "regular" here (before he moved away for school), had made a special detour during his road trip specifically to dine here again that night. The owner definitely recognized him, and they had a familiar rapport that validated his story, and his enthusiasm. That sort of devotion says far more good things about this place than any review I could ever write. Stellar service, incredible food, romantic décor, and a quiet, beautiful location tucked away from the crowds of Carmel; Il Tegamino is a hidden gem that is worth seeking out, and comes about as close to replicating the vibe of Tuscany as you can get here in the states. Very, very recommended...and not just by my wife and I: those other two couples would assuredly back me up on this!

The Rabbit Hole - San Francisco

E Lee Came here for dinner. I wasn’t sure what to expect because I thought there would maybe be more of a bar vibe. There was a bar area and a very clear sit down dining area. I appreciate the tv for watching various sports/ games. There was also a tv playing anime (cowboy bebop). Food was delicious, drinks were strong. They also have a great happy hour deal which I would come back for.
