Jes Meda Wife and I regularly go here for some excellent selections of tapas and always the Caesars salad. Great Happy Hour prices and the tasty food never disappoints. Gil always provides excellent service at the bar and we regularly meet very nice people also enjoying the food and drinks at the bar. House guacamole is fresh and I enjoy the cazuelita de costilla de res and always the cazuelita de gambas. Hector also provides great and friendly service at the bar. Debasish Roy The Google Map shows 4.1 stars, but for me it was more than 5 stars. This TX Roadhouse is way bigger than others I have seen. The server was so cool and nice. We asked for extra butter and he has given the extra basket of bread with butter of course. The food was not like east coast TX Roadhouses. Here, the portion size was generous. I mean the Rattlesnake Bites will make your mouth full as it has hot good amount of cheese. Overall experience was great because of service and food.

Baxley Emily (Wendland) This place is AMAZING! The food was absolutely delicious- I had salmon with mango salsa (I think called Salmon Marin). The food came out so fast and the staff was so kind and helpful. The atmosphere of this cafe feels like sitting on a friend’s porch. Very lovely and cozy. Definitely would recommend coming here.

Tresa Johnson This was our first time there. I have Celiac disease and I had read that they are one of the go to places in Davis for those with Celiacs. They were very accommodating, clean grill, and even the fries were gluten free. We even got my Sons 2 other chicken strips free because he has put it on wrong. Very friendly, made sure to leave a generous tip. Definitely a place to visit when you are in town.

Stephanie Jones Food was ok, the drinks were great but I feel in love with the atmosphere which made it all that much better! It was busy busy but they serve was great and hearing all the conversations around every table full people happy the vibes was nice.

Grace Augustus We love Batter Up! The food is always hot and fast. The servers and hospitality are always super nice. Be mindful on Sundays when they packed and can be a 45+ minute wait. I take that as an opportunity to run a quick errand at Target, Walmart, or Vons. Also, beware that the seating area can get tight and claustrophobic when its packed. For my fiancé and I the average cost is about $60 out the door and I usually get a water and the Home Plate meal and he gets an omelet of some sort with a soda. Overall, Batter Up is one of my top two places for breakfast.
