Elena Ershova Our family had the best American breakfast experience here! The portions are generous, the flavor combinations are simply delightful, and the service was excellent. We only waited about 5–6 minutes for our meals, which was a wonderful surprise. Some dishes are served all day, which is great. I really wanted to try the smoked mushrooms, but my stomach just couldn’t handle more food this time — I’ll definitely order them next time! My husband absolutely loved the potato skins, and I fell in love with the blueberry pancakes. This place made us feel at home, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend Cindy’s if you want to experience a traditional American diner with outstanding food and atmosphere

christopher lee The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly. Not overcooked, and the sausage is handmaid in-house. Not the ones you buy from supermarkets. Orange juice was freshly squeezed, the thin waffles tasty & chewy! Overall, it was great & especially outdoor dining overlooking the beach. It was wonderful......Cant beat it!

Elysia Guillen Model Citizen is one of those vibey spots that feels elevated without being stuffy, and Mondays are my favorite time to go. They are open Thursday through Monday from 4 pm to 9 pm and closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Happy hour runs daily from 4 to 6 pm and all night on Mondays. And yes, you can order happy hour from anywhere you sit in the restaurant, which immediately earns bonus points. Mondays have the best energy. It is relaxed but still lively. I am obsessed with their salads, especially the Caesar, heavy on the parm please. The happy hour menu never misses. Smash burger with fries and garlic aioli is a must. And if you are getting a drink, go for the Negroni. They make a very good one, balanced and done right. Great food, strong drinks, and a really good vibe. Model Citizen is a go to when you want something fun, elevated, and reliably good.

Justin McClelland Best falafel in Santa Barbara (dare I say)! Made an impromptu stop for lunch at The Daisy and enjoyed every moment of the meal. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options! You can tell they prepare the ingredients and care about the quality of the food - everything was super fresh. Also, I really appreciated how clean the staff kept the restaurant, even during busy periods. Everyone we interacted with from ordering to being served was extremely friendly and helpful. This place is food done right…simple, fresh, but made with passion. Chef’s kiss!

Mr. Wagner I am addicted to the tofu burger! it is always so tasty and fresh! The atmosphere is nice and the open kitchen is awesome. The portions are generous and the staff so friendly! Perfect spot to hit after the movies! They also have breakfast and craft beer!

Cisco L Kept it simple for our first visit — no regrets. Grabbed the meat lovers omelette and a breakfast burrito. Both were solid, no-frills comfort food. But the real MVP? That café de olla. Warm, spiced, and just sweet enough — totally hit the spot. Shoutout to Andrew for the intro — great recommendation! Next time, we’ll definitely branch out and try something new.
