Katys Place - (Near Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA)

Andrew Garcia Great spot for Mexican food in Visalia. This is a restaurant chain here in the Central Valley, but we like this location the best. Our waiter Jaime was great and the food delicious. We had the guacamole, nachos con todo, carnitas plate, taco and enchilada, as well as the molcajete.

Elisha Elisha Chris was the BEST waiter that Ive had in a VERY long time. He was EXTREMELY attentive, efficient and overall an amazing server! We visited Bennetts Kitchen, yes at 6:15 pm. It was busy, but both Kevin (brought our water out), and Chris (our actual waiter) treated us like we were the only guests in there... and clearly we werent! We had a party of 5 people, we ordered One Wine Special (2 starters, 2 entrees and a bottle of wine), one Ribs and Chicken meal, One lasagna, one steak salad and a jalapeño cornbread. For the Wine special we had a butternut squash soup, a tortilla soup, meatloaf entree, Mias salad entree and a bottle of Harken. We gave it all 2 thumbs up! My butternut squash soup was the best that Ive ever had. A little sweet, with a savory swirl on it. My meatloaf was juice, and the flavors were elevated, not your regular, Monday night, covered in tomato sauce meatloaf. Its also a fish or meat market FYI.

Orlinity When going to lazy dog to be honest, it’s been a pretty long time since I’ve gone here because it’s pretty far away, but I do wanna say I was pleasantly surprised arriving here on a 9 PM day on a weekday. It was busy, but it wasn’t too busy. I’ve seen restaurants to be this busy and not have enough staff on board to handle on a weekday, but was seated promptly. I did wanna say the only bad experience I had was I was seated in a chair that was pretty well known to have a table that would move a lot so I think that they should just remove that table altogether and also after leaving I did see that another group was sitting there as well. It was moving a lot. It wasn’t a bit a small shift. It was almost a 20° shift from when putting my weight on it. Besides this came for the T-Mobile Tuesday promotion they were very respectful, although they didn’t know exactly how it worked. They were able to answer any questions that I had to the best of their ability. Ashley my server was very attentive and was able to help me and my partner in multiple ways with any questions on the menu. She also explained to me that the tips are distributed by department when I asked, which is what I like for restaurants to do so very happy about that knowing that when I tip that we distributed to the people I wanted to be. For food items the media noodles was pretty surprising very good doesn’t taste like normal media but if you do enjoy beer, you will enjoy it and the Bimbimpop bowl was great as well. We also had a starter of the chicken tiki masala balls very good as well. I do want to say that if you went to the respective restaurant for each of these items, I do think that the taste would be slightly better, but I wanna clarify that I would come here again and order the same thing Not only does it give me the ability to order multiple items that are absolutely amazing, but although it doesn’t taste as good, these items taste extremely good, especially knowing that they have to work with such a large menu excited to come here again

Robinson Family I got a lot of recommendations of this place came here with friends and family. We ordered everything everything was good my daughter had the only complaint she ordered crab melt and didn’t like it. She said to fishy for her and that says a lot because she is a pescatarian. She also had a side of sweet potato fry’s that she really liked. Besides that we had surf and turf which was great, my son had seafood cavatappi that he liked a lot. I had the blue cheese burger which was a giant. Also fresh baked cookie and scoop of ice cream for dessert to top it off.

Judy A The best Basque restaurant in Bakersfield. The food and service never disappoint. Arrive early and enjoy a cocktail. The food is always delicious and the service is first rate. Save room for dessert. The souffle or baked Alaskan needs to be ordered same time as your main course.

Melinda Simmons Everything we ordered was delicious. Our servers were great. I wish the waiter for a table near ours had not discussed politics loudly for so long, but I dont blame the restaurant for that.
