Kickin Flavors 好食鸡 - (Near Fremont, CA)

Shannon Arner Terry’s at the Cypress Inn is everything you want in a brunch spot—delicious food, live jazz that sets the mood just right, and an ambiance that makes you want to linger. The jazz brunch is a must. Bonus points for being super dog-friendly (yes, theres a dog menu!) which makes the whole experience even more fun. It’s the kind of place you come back to every time youre in town.

Bates Jaffe My elderly father and I came here for breakfast and first of all it was delicious! He’s a former chef and VERY particular and went crazy for their biscuits and gravy. The staff is amazing. Stephanie and Micah took amazing care of us, they were both so kind and generous with their time and my dad’s MANY requests. Chatting with them (and getting many local recommendations) while we had breakfast at the bar was a true pleasure- just genuinely lovely people! If I lived locally this would absolutely be a regular spot for me. (Micah, you rock!) Thank you all so much for everything!

Jeanette Castillo Martina was our server on a Sunday night. The place was pretty much empty. He did an amazing job! Very attentive he knew a lot about the menu and he gave great Options.

Vivian Ngo Came to dine in and the service was great. They were very attentive and the food was quick. They start you off with a Pandan Tea drink that actually tastes of pandan without being watered down. Do note that this place is "Modern" Pho! They do not abide by all the traditional rules and it is different, but not bad. I ordered the Pho Nam (Fatty Brisket Pho) and the Pork & Avocado Spring Rolls. Both dishes are very light. The broth was clear and they used Banh Pho noodles (Flat Medium Rice Noodles) that are more traditional in Central Vietnam - You can see them in the photos attached. The spring rolls were also very light and refreshing with tender pork and they were delicious. The portion sizes are on the smaller-medium size which I actually appreciate, although I know a lot of people that would prefer the overly large portion sizes. It was a good amount to feel full, but not like Ive overeaten. The place is very clean and maintained on the inside. The entire time I was eating, they were wiping down utensils one by one, and were hand stamping their name on the to go bags. They are meticulous with their work, and you can definitely tell! Side note - Even their disposable chopsticks were quality (and adorable. Image attached too).

Kylie Horenberger The decor/vibe are really well done. Its gimmicky, obviously, but its not like tacky or cheesy, if that makes sense. The ahi poke was delicious and was the perfect amount as our appetizer before getting dinner next door. I got the Lapu Lapu cocktail because I thought the pig cup was adorable. It was pretty boozy tasting, which was fine because I like rum, it just wasnt what I was expecting. My partner got the one with pineapple whiskey and ginger beer; it was a little sweet, but refreshing and yummy. We were there for his birthday, and they brought out a fun shot for him! Well definitely be going back.

Emmalu Schwab They’re always a hit at the summer concerts in Todd grove park. It’s my favorite part of the concert.
