James Rabuco On my first trip to Paso Robles, I had to visit my favorite brewery, Firestone Walker. I decided to try something other than their classic 805, so I went with the 805 Cerveza Michelada and was not disappointed. It was exactly what I was in the mood for.
For my meal, I ordered the Tri-Tip Sando. The sandwich was a perfect size and generously filled with tri-tip. The toasted bread was perfectly crisp. I was excited for the fries, as the thin-cut fries I saw on other peoples plates looked delicious. However, when my order arrived, the fries appeared underdone and the container was only half full. It was a letdown, and Im not sure why my serving was so small.
The service, though, was excellent. My server was a seasoned veteran who was very knowledgeable about all the beers on tap. Parking was also easy, with plenty of street parking available.
If youre in the area, I recommend stopping by for a beer. To avoid the possibility of underdone fries, you might want to consider ordering a side salad or the steak fries instead.
