Shelby Cooper Food was good and fresh. Server Morgan was very sweet and even offered us the new pretty Christmas drink. We ended up getting it to go as well.

Jean Virtue St Felix hosted my 50th birthday in early November. Even though they were coming off a busy Halloween weekend, they delivered amazing attention to our event. Lauren and Jessica were amazing to our guests and were a pleasure to deal with. Dani and Johnny were on point with with all the pre planning details. I highly recommend having an event at this venue or even popping by for their happy hour. The atmosphere is fun, rock n roll, cool and not pretentious. They played my custom playlist (which I believe may be part of the regular rotation now). The night could not have gone better and I would book there again with no hesitation.

Preston Stringer Brought the family to the Tin Fish for dinner. It was delicious and HUGE! The fish was perfectly fried. Tender and delicious. NOT a beer batter which I like. The waffle fries were good and plentiful. The shrimp and calamari were cooked perfectly and paired well with all of the house made sauces. We had so much food that we had to take boxes home and had a whole extra meal for the next day! The kicker is, for everything being fried, it WAS NOT GREASY. This means they change their oil and cook at the right temps! Finished the meal off with some smoothies, ice cream and one of the best churros Ive had in a long time! Plenty of cinnamon and sugar. The place was clean the staff was very friendly. Im definitely looking forward to going back to try some other stuff and that cheeseburger burrito.

George .Berlioz Taste of Thai, Grass Valley, CA 204 W Main St., Suite 103 — a jewel of Thai cuisine right in downtown Grass Valley.  If you want “bam-pow” flavor, this is the spot. From the moment we walked in, we knew something special was happening. The service? World class. Paula—our waitress who gave us world class service, Jep our server who was most insightful (and that girl with the cool tattoo on her left arm) Saffron,—delivered with a smile that lit up the whole room. That kind of genuine warmth makes you feel immediately at home, like everyone who works there loves doing what they do. It’s not just polite—it’s joy in human form. Now, let’s talk food: • Pad Kee Mao: noodles cooked to perfection—slightly chewy, richly sauced, never soggy. The pork was tender, giving just the right pull with each bite. The spice level? Hot. Not just “Thai hot” but “if I asked for hot-hot, this is what I want” kind of spicy. BAM. • The Evil Jungle Noodle: this was the show-stopper. A daring mix of red curry and yellow curry married with fresh vegetables that pop in color and flavor. Each spoonful punches with vibrant curry richness, fresh greens, and layered textures. It’s familiar, yet creative—everything you want when you try variation on a classic. What stood out most was how everything comes together: the atmosphere, the authenticity, the pride in the cooking. The food exploded in flavor, but it never overwhelmed—you taste each ingredient. If I could sum it up in one line: Taste of Thai is one of the best Thai meals I’ve had in a long time, full of soul, style, and spice. We did have an appetizer that I highly recommend it delivered more than I expected. Tod Mun Pla (Thai Fish Cakes) — lightly deep-fried little rounds of spiced fish paste, crispy on the outside yet tender and packed with savory flavor inside. They come served with crisp cucumber slices and a sweet-and-sour dipping sauce that cuts through the richness just right.

Raymond Garcia I cant believe im just learning of this place! Food was great, service was great and very inexpensive. Our total for 2 of us came out to $21.00 and some change. Will definitely be back again!

Tayna Labissiere Located in a lovely neighborhood, this restaurant offers a pleasant experience. There was the choice of indoor or shady outdoor seating, so the Californian weather could be enjoyed in peace. There was not a long wait, however you can make reservations. The decor is beautiful and even has a grape vine crawling up the side of the gate outside. The servers were attentive to our needs, patient, and overall lovely. The food was delectable, I recommend the blueberry pancakes for brunch, the salmon burger and lamb burger for lunch. There were alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, coffees, and teas. The bathroom is neat, which is a bonus.
