Julie Acomb This place has such fun ambiance. We ate on the patio and it was all decorated for Dia de Muertos. We went for my mom’s birthday and this is one of her favorite places. The food was good but not over the top delicious. This place is definitely all about the ambiance. We had the fajitas, enchiladas, and a chicken salad. My sister had a peach margarita and ended up ordering two, it was so good.

Robert Gilbert 2021 update: Ive become addicted to this place and it is my go to for seafood fried rice as well as their house blend mild crab legs. Ive tried other places and no one has that right level of flavor and kick to keep me not only coming back but finding excuses to swing by. 6/5 stars honestly. Even their lack luster drinks cant bring down the score. Food way to d*** good. Its a mystery I havent heard if this place yet. I recommend crab lovers to try this place. The drink selection was fun

Peter Pimblett First time visit to SC. This place has it all if you want friendly staff, a fantastic range of stuff on tap (never mind the fridges!) and delicious food. Don’t sleep on it; if you’re around give it a visit.

Gigi Loved finding this hidden gem in the middle of the mountains last summer. It immediately became my favorite new restaurant when visiting Lake Almanor. We returned several times throughout the fall and couldnt wait to get back to the lake this summer to enjoy more culinary experiences at The Sandpiper. Its so clear that chef Jack takes great pride and care in determining what to include in each dish and how they are prepared. Jack has designed a menu full of creative pairings using fresh ingredients, flavorable balance of spices, and elevated finishing touches and presentations. Every meal continues to exceed my expectations. If there is a special of the day, it is an absolute MUST have and ALWAYS delicious. The family owned restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere with attentive, friendly service. Ive noticed lots of repeat customers walk through the doors each night. I will absolutely be back again and again. I highly recommend this restaurant, you wont be disappointed. P.S. Please dont tell my grandma that Jacks homemade apple pie is my all time favorite!

Esmeralda Pantoja I had such a great experience at Jalapeños in Vallejo! The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were just as amazing. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, and the atmosphere was really welcoming. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the whole visit even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to and recommending to friends and family! Try out the Potranca margarita it’s the BEST!

Andrea Raygoza Went here last night for date night with my hubby. No inside seating when we arrived so we hung out in the patio until a table opened up inside (30 min give or take). Luckily they have outdoor heaters. Food was amazing we got the cubano sandwich & hamburger. Their fries were the best!!! I can’t wait to go back this place is a gem :)
