4 /5 LeiLei Amps: Weve passed this restaurant many times, so much so it became an inside joke to say, "Im gonna try that place sometime." If based on just food, it was amazing.... But the service left the experience, lacking. The younger dark haired waitress left us with a feeling that we put her out by coming to eat there. The more mature of the ladies, Im guessing her supervisor or just better waitress came to check on us and make sure we didnt need anything. Other than that tho, the food was amazing and huge portions.

The meat was perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The sizzling presentation made the meal even more enjoyable. The portions were generous, and the sides complemented the dish perfectly. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure I had everything I needed. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and had a great atmosphere. I highly recommend Los Altos for anyone looking for amazing food and top-notch service!

The food was excellent and the portions were generous — especially the large micheladas, which were properly made and definitely lived up to the name. The combination plate was also a standout: everything was well-cooked, flavorful, and satisfying, with a good variety on one plate. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place to sit down and actually enjoy your meal. This feels like a spot locals know and appreciate for good reason. If you’re in Salinas and deciding where to eat, this place is absolutely worth stopping into. I’ll definitely be back.

5 /5 Hole In the Wall Seeker: Place is awesome. Every dish was superb and delicious, the little side salad was nice. Service was fast, and the waitresses were vigilant and attentive. The band was playing all night, and the setting was very authentic. Ill definitely come back for the mocajete, that looked good. Chips n salsa were tasty as well.

5 /5 Christina Federighi: Staff was excellent. The vibe was nice, an authentic family feel. The verde must’ve been a day old. But it was fine. Pretty salty. Over all my family had a really great time. Happy to see the mariachis.
