M & M Ranch House - (Near Red Bluff, CA)

5 /5 Jeremy Cowin: We had to pivot at the last minute after the restaurant we originally planned on was closed, and we ended up at M & M Ranch. I’m glad we did — we were not disappointed. Our group started with the clam chowder, and it was excellent. Rich, creamy, and clearly made right. The salad bar was simple but fresh and well maintained. The real star, though, was the burgers. We ordered the Chief Burger and the Ringer Burger, and I immediately understood how this place was voted Best Burger in Tehama County. The combination of BBQ sauce, onion rings, cheese, and bacon was outstanding. Big, well-cooked burgers done right. I did see one review mention that the burgers were “expensive.” This isn’t McDonald’s. Were they a little pricey? Yes. Were they amazing? Absolutely. Worth every penny. If you want fast-food prices, go to a fast-food place. Service was excellent, and you can tell this is a well-run, family-owned restaurant. The place was very clean and clearly managed with care. The only small negative was that it was surprisingly dark outside — possibly a lighting issue — but don’t let that stop you. If you drive by without stopping, you’ll miss a real treat. We’ll definitely be back next year when we’re in town for the holidays.

Every year, our Christmas party, which brings together 20-30 people, relies on them to make the evening truly special, and they never disappoint. The food is consistently outstanding, and theyre always accommodating when it comes to customizing our meal. Theyre a shining example of the dedication and excellence that small business owners bring to our community. Great work guys!!

5 /5 Paul Duncan: I had an amazing gluten free, comfort food breakfast. I enjoyed a custom omelet which was cooked to perfection. The hash browns were exactly as hash browns should be, crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Bacon was top notch, thick with a great flavor, browned and with a nice bit of goody bacon ‘flavor crystals’ on the outside. Gluten free toast was an unexpected surprise and not listed on the menu. Waitress was awesome, happy, helpful, great smile and very accommodating. This will be a new must-stop in Red Bluff. Nicely done.

5 /5 Steven Marquez: Traveling to Lassen Volcanic N.P. stopped in Red Bluff for breakfast. Friendly and courteous staff, ordered the BYOOmelet with sausage, mushrooms, and pepper jack cheese. The cook didnt hold back on the sausage, mushrooms, and cheese. Great place and good food if in Red Bluff worth a visit.

4 /5 H Chip (Chipinator): The food was good, but not spectacular. Nice little find in this area. Prices seemed a little high for the good you received, but not too bad. Ive had much better service at other restaurants, but Ive also had worse.. It took a while before our waiter actually came to our table, and once the food was delivered, only saw him again when the check came. But others were helping with plate removal, and water filling.... would I go again? Yes, but not till I tried some other local favorites first....
