Frosty Queen - Madera

Rating: 4.4 /5
Mike Martin The only place that has a burger like old Sno-white in Madera. Our kids love the dubai chocolate milkshake. Good old fashioned burger joint food, beats all the fast food burgers in town. They have pretty good salads too.

Nick the Greek - Vallejo

Rating: 4.4 /5
Antonio Essex-Lettieri We absolutely love Nick the Greek! My family and I eat here all the time, and the service is always amazing. The staff here really goes above and beyond to make sure you get your food and are happy with your order. Theyre always willing to help if you have questions about the menu, and you can tell they actually care about doing a good job, not just rushing you through the line. Since we come here regularly, the employees have gotten to know us. Sofia is especially friendly and caring - she remembers what we usually order and always greets us with genuine smiles. Our community is so lucky to have a place like this. Its one of those special restaurants where you know youll get good food and be treated well every single time. Places like Nick the Greek are what make our neighborhood feel special. If you havent been here yet, definitely give it a try. The food is great and the people who work here will take good care of you. Well keep coming back for sure!

R B Food was good. Pricey but close to Laguna Seca for a quick lunch. Fast service and great staff

SAJJ Mediterranean (Sunnyvale) - Sunnyvale

Rating: 4.4 /5
Jacob Scwartz I ordered both a chicken wrap and the pomegranate chicken served with couscous. While the standard chicken in the wrap was ok, the pomegranate chicken was the absolute star of the meal: it was truly phenomenal and packed with incredible flavor. The restaurant itself has a really nice atmosphere that makes for a pleasant dining experience. I was particularly impressed by how clean the entire space was, from the dining area to the service counter, which is always something I appreciate. The service was also remarkably quick, and given the generous portion sizes, the price point is very reasonable for the quality you receive. Regarding the food, I did notice that the wrap itself was a tiny bit on the stale side, but the other ingredients inside were incredibly fresh and delicious, which made up for it. I was also given a lentil soup that was quite tasty, though it was a little overseasoned with cumin for my taste. If you go, I highly recommend adding the eggplant ragout and the cilantro chutney to your order. Overall, this is a great spot for a fresh, filling lunch or dinner, and I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

Oriental Buffet - Arcata

Shangfang Gao LA local sees it exceptionally good with very reasonable price. The mussel is our favorite. Instead of cheese, soft steamed egg was added on the shell. Together with the fresh and sweet mussel, it creates a taste that we never had and won everyone’s heart. I would also recommend fried rice noodles. Without much seasoning it’s giving out some reminiscent home taste.

HomeState - Los Angeles

Rating: 4.6 /5
Darryl Ford Have never been disappointed when visiting HomeState. I like that they have a wide variety of tacos available so I can change up my order depending what I may be hungry for. This includes the special or limited edition tacos that are often added to the rotation. Am particularly a fan of the brisket and when really hungry will tackle some migas for breakfast. Coffee is good too. And the small side patio is such a comfortable space to sit and enjoy your food (and love that it is not immediately adjacent to the sidewalk).
