Andrew C. Aroma House is one of those rare, special places you feel lucky to discover. Tucked away in an almost impossible corner of Redwood City, it feels like a secret you want to keep and also tell everyone about at the same time.
The buff chili momos are absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and just the right amount of heat. They are the kind of dish you think about long after the meal is over and quietly plan your return for.
The lamb vindaloo is hands down the best I’ve had. Rich, spicy, and balanced, with lamb that is tender and infused with flavor. The lamb tikka masala is equally outstanding, creamy and comforting without being heavy, and clearly made with care rather than shortcuts.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Even in the cold of winter, Aroma House feels like a refuge. It’s the kind of place that warms your heart and your soul as much as it fills your stomach.
If you love bold flavors, comforting dishes, and discovering hidden gems, Aroma House is absolutely worth seeking out. Its our regular spot and I feel apprehensive about revealing the spot. But it must be shared.
