Marshalls Pasties - Grass Valley

Brooke Barnhart Excellent spot! And they are way less expensive than the other spot down the street- and nicer too! We got two pasties here, and later my husband decided to try the other spot, and he paid $2 more for his one, than we paid here for two! Highly recommend, delicious and a good deal!

Thai Noodle Express - Placerville

Laura Horowitz The waitress that was behind the counter was lovely. This is a perfect place for someone who is gluten free/celiac. The portion size was great too. The place was clean and the prices were extremely reasonable. This is by far the best Thai food Ive never had. Too bad we are were only visiting the area but this food was one of the highlights of our trip.

Anthonys Atlas The search is finally over! This place has the best biscuits and gravy in the 209 area. These biscuits are made fresh daily and you can definitely tell. They are tall and fluffy and quite filling. the gravy is smooth and creamy I can’t say it’s the best gravy around but it complements the biscuit who is the real star of the show. All the other menu items we tried were delicious as well. portions are generous and prices are on par with most other breakfast joints. Service was excellent, fast and friendly even on a bustling Saturday morning. Atmosphere is nothing fancy just straight up cafe fare with a classic local vibe. This will absolutely be in rotation for breakfast and I am looking forward to trying the lunch menu

Picante - Ontario

Ruby Garcia Hidden gem! I came here because a Peruvian friend recommended it and I seriously fell in love. The food is so good, the meat in the lomo is super tender and full of flavor, the tallarín was delicious, and my favorite has to be the ceviche! I’m used to Mexican-style ceviche so this was a bit different for me, but I loved it. On top of the food, the service is always great! the staff is really nice and even though the place is small, they do their best to fit bigger groups. Definitely recommend trying this spot!

State of Mind Slice House - Palo Alto

Aja Possibly the best Gluten Free Pizza Crust I have had from a restaurant. 12 x12 square thick dough with the crispy bottom. Husband got 2 slices and garlic knots. Alameda Beverage company lemonade and cream soda drinks.
