Sylvia W. Happen to be in town from Stockton and decided to Google a restaurant and we chose Classic Diner, good thing because the food was great and the plate hot. We ordered the Jukebox, coffee, tea and a side of hashbrowns. Food was plentiful.

Maria Lucco Best Cherry Mocha EVER!! Great little coffee shop with delicious baked goods. Such a great little find on our travels. The sandwiches looked delicious, too. Next trip we’ll schedule our stop for lunch.

The team clearly cares about what they do, and it shows in every detail. The burgers were phenomenal—perfectly cooked, high-quality ingredients, and absolutely delicious. The famous cheese skirt is a must-try; it takes their burgers to a whole new level of flavor and texture. Every bite had that perfect balance of crispy cheese, juicy meat, and fresh toppings. The chicken sandwich was also outstanding, tender and flavorful with just the right crunch. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and it’s clear why Nobby’s consistently wins “Best Burger in Chico” year after year. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is one spot you can’t miss. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Nobby’s isn’t just a meal—it’s an experience!

Oisin McGuigan We had a really great breakfast here. So many options! This place has an oldschool look and feel. The service was extremely prompt and very friendly. Looking forward to returning

Jim Runyan 9/18/25. 11:30am local time First impressions are usually a good indicator of the class of place your in. Bathroom’s were FILTHY FILTHY. NO SOAP nor Sanitizer! Should have left right then. Mediocre service- little girl w nose piercing was putout with our presence. Manager and young dark haired girl were very accommodating though Chicken was dry biscuits like starch. Sure gives KFC a bad name. Unfortunately most of the old KFC locations are getting to be like this! Sad sad.

Wade Norton We recently discovered Burgers and Cream in Grass Valley — a new addition to what appears to be a growing chain — and it turned out to be a very pleasant find. The overall experience reminded us of Five Guys Burgers and Fries, but honestly, the burgers here might be even better. It’s a bit comical that their “small” burger starts at one-third of a pound, but that just means you’re guaranteed a hearty meal. We both ordered the small burgers, and each of us thoroughly enjoyed them — juicy, flavorful, and freshly made to order. Next time, we plan to branch out and try the fries or onion rings, and most importantly, their ice cream (it’s in the name, after all!). All in all, Burgers and Cream is a great find in Grass Valley — good food, generous portions, and a fun, casual atmosphere. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
