5 /5 Maribel Lopez: My family came here for a Christmas Eve dinner, and it was exceptional. I made reservations online a few days before. My party of four was seated in a beautiful booth that overlooked the water. The restaurant had twinkle lights and garland strung about, which made the restaurant feel jolly and festive. Our server Iman, was so attentive and warm - he made us feel like old friends. We started with warm bread and good butter, their fried calamari, and a house salad with fresh carrots and beets - so fresh! The owner came by our table and greeted us, and that felt like such a special touch.
My daughters and I ordered the chicken parm -one of the best chicken Parmesan and pasta dishes ever! My husband enjoyed a soy maple steak. Of course, I stole a bite, and it was perfectly cooked and came with the creamiest potatoes Ive ever had. We finished our meal with one of the yummiest and most beautifully decorated crème brûlée desserts ever. Oh, and did I mention my daughters and I each received long-stem roses - so sweet! We will definitely come back the next time we are in Monterey.
