5 /5 Nicholas Breton: Stopped in yesterday on a cold, rainy day to find a comfortable warm room and amazing food. The owner sat us and our little ones down at one of the large tables and brought our toddler a coloring book, crayons, and some toys that kept him happy while we looked over the menu and tended to babies with us. Everyone was extremely kind to us, especially the bar tender in the connected saloon that stands where the old hanging tree once stood. My wife and her chatted for a while about some of the history and I highly recommend everyone looking at the 100yo painting of what the town used to look like, including the famous tree. We ordered two of the pasta dishes, one burger, and my little ones and I shared absolutely loaded potato wedges. Everything was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. The main reason we visited was to cover some of the history of Placerville for our podcast and we were very pleased that not only did we get to learn more firsthand , but we also got a memorable meal. Thank you to the owner and staff for being the highlight of our day.
