3 /5 Reuel Indurkar: Fast service and good atmosphere. Soup came out cold, but our server glady took it back to heat it up again. Chicken sandwich had really wilted lettuce on it. Avocado was also pretty old as it was much more brown than green. I’d avoid anything with lettuce or avocado on it. Other than that, seemed like a good restaurant

5 /5 Carlos Mangrobang: Ive kept my burger snob attitude because unless theres something special about it, to me its just another regular burger. On our way to Pinecrest CA, we stopped by the Outpost, a gas station mini Mart with a small restaurant serving appetizers, breakfast, and lunch menu items. We were looking for a quick bite en route to our final destination. What seemingly a step above fast food joint, located at a gas station mini Mart, we werent expecting food that will blow us away. I ordered the Outpost burger. It came with a perfectly cooked fresh patty, with white cheddar, grilled onions and chopped chiles. I also added onion rings on the side. My wife ordered the Tri-Tip sandwich with fries that was neither wedge, chip or string. Her sandwich came with an au-jus dipping sauce too. Both our sandwiches were cradled with homemade, baked on site bread rolls that was perfectly toasted. Needless to say, our meal was very good. We both believe it was the bread that made our sandwiches extra special tasting. Service was fast and friendly. Judging from the constant stream of customers and the repeated ring of the register, their business is hopping patronized by locals and travelers. The Outpost earned my highest praise. I highly recommend this stop over spot. We will certainly visit again next time we are heading towards Pinecrest through Soulsbyville.

3 /5 Robin Sullivan: Unfortunately, I question myself every time I order food from here because EVERY TIME our order is messed up or something is missing, and yet I keep coming back hoping its going to be good like it used to be. We ordered turkey wraps, burgers, and fries. Upon opening the wrap, there was an overwhelming smell of bagged salad. I looked at my wrap, and there was brown lettuce and brown avocado all throughout the wrap rendering it inedible. My husband took a bite out of his, and he also had large chunks of brown lettuce, which was totally unappetizing. My son ordered onion rings that were burnt. We paid a lot of money ($87) for over half of our order to be completely inedible, and our fries and sauces were missing. This used to be my favorite place to get quick hot dinners from, but the last 3-4 times we have been there, there have been issues with our food. The other issue we have is them getting the food out on time. We always leave our house 10 minutes later than the time that the order is supposed to be done because we know our food will come out late, however, when we get there, we still have to wait another 10-15 minutes before its finished. The owners are great people, and its unfortunate that some of their employees working the deli side arent paying attention, or are straight up not giving a damn about the food theyre putting out there. A few of the deli staff are unfriendly and get pissy when we show them that our order is wrong. It is truly unfortunate. The cashier (older gentleman) is always kind and a joy to chat with when we are there for other things. We wont go there for food anymore. I hope this review helps makes matters better. Its not intended to be hateful. We just really miss what this place used to be.
