Rice Bowl - (Near Hanford, CA)

1 /5 Monica Espinoza: If I could give zero stars I would. To start off, me, my husband and kids arrived and wanted to sit in a different booth (due to the fact we have a infant in a stroller and wanted space) the waitress was very rude and gave attitude when stating (sit wherever you want) but kept insisting we sat where she stated. We sat where we felt most comfortable and as soon as we sat down she didn’t even offer us drinks or anything. She left and didn’t come back for another 15 mins (mind you there was only another family there) she kept staring at us up and down and at my baby in disgust. Me and my husband were like well maybe the food will outdo her attitude and be good. It was horrible, the food was very greasy, salty & just plain disgusting. This was our first and last time at Rice bowl!! She seemed very racist and didn’t even offer us any refills, didn’t even ask if we were okay and how was the food. DO NOT GO HERE.

1 /5 Jim Ryan Salameda: This is hands down the worst Chinese food in the country. Being a former Chinese Restaurant owner in South Florida, I like trying other Chinese food whenever Im traveling. The food portions are horrible and taste is way off. I ordered Sweet & Sour pork and my wife had the orange chicken. Both were tasteless and low protein. The soft noodles only had salt and the fried rice had some sort of dry shredded/shaved pork. My so called roast duck appetizer was deep fried, not as advertised. Worst part about this whole meal was the egg roll. It didnt have the traditional egg roll wrapper. Looks like they dipped the egg roll into flour. I thought it was fried chicken until I broke it in half. Im not Chinese but my old Taiwanese/Cantonese restaurant is 5 Diamond compared to this slop. The lady that took my order at the door was very rude. I understand Covid19 distancing is required but this restaurant has a shielded barrier which is great but she was taking my order from more than 6 feet which proved to be very difficult to place my order. I couldnt hear anything she was saying.

1 /5 Grandy Chassity (Charley): Crackers for soup very old- egg drop soup was good and very flavorful, egg rolls were thick and dry, the Thai tea was horrible they use oatmilk, I assume to cut down on cost. The pork roast was good cold but very dry, fried rice taste like it was weeks old and teriyaki chicken was way too sweet, taste like sugar and soy sauce. The shrimp curry was poorly spiced and the shrimp themselves were soft and bad. The cho mein was decent it’s the only thing that filled us up other than that this was a waste of money. I now see why they only had three customers!!!

5 /5 Crystal Herrick: I love the pork chow main its so good and eeg flower soup is delicious there is absolutely no Chinese restaurant in Selma CA that compares to this restaurant in hanford CA this is so amazing I wish I still lived in Hanford I miss this food so much.
