Rumfish y Vino - (Near Ventura, CA)

Janice Bae This restaurant has beautiful scenery, both indoors and outdoors. The building was supposedly built in the 60s and an antique feel that adds to the quaint look thats so unique and charming. My husband & I ordered 2 appetizers, a pasta, and a main and found the dishes quite filling and delicious. We especially enjoyed the pollo entree, which was interestingly more of a chicken puff pastry. The complimentary bread is also quite good - definitely have it with the balsamic vinegar. Overall highly recommend!

Zara Baghikyan We went to Houston in Pasadena for a family dinner celebrating an exciting new journey. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent — very attentive and friendly. This was my second time dining here and it was just as good as the first time. Highly recommend for both special occasions and regular nights out. We all really enjoyed it!

Thomas McKinstry The Progress is the big brother to State Bird, which I also love. The atmosphere is elevated, and the service impeccable - but does not feel too fancy or snooty. The food was delicious and each dish had a variety of textures and tastes which complemented themselves. The highlights of our meal were the caviar potato cloud, the steamed black cod, and the half duck. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

Sarai Avila It was my first time here and I’ll definitely be back. I’m allergic to shrimp, so I’m always cautious when eating out—but they did an amazing job keeping everything separate. Since they cook the food right in front of you, it was super reassuring to see that there was no cross-contamination. Big shoutout to the staff for being so careful and making the experience enjoyable and safe! Make reservations!!

Genoa Stewart It was our first time coming. Chef Nathan was attentive, hilarious and entertaining aside frim the good being delicious. Our server, Kristy was on it taking care of our needs promptly. We had a very impressive visit. Thank you all!

melina castillo I cant believe that Im only trying this restaurant for the first time now... Ive been missing out! Lets start with the polite servers who are responsive to our needs even when it got busy. Arians was great, and I wish I knew the names of the two who served us the bread and refilled our glasses! Then, theres the modern, yet still rustic ambience playing good music that is not too loud. Finally, lets get to the food. The short rib empanada: I would go back even just for this! The salad was simple yet delicious! I think theres heart of palm chopped in there, and the dressing was simple and just right! The steak! My goodness, that was PERFECTION served on a plate! The meat was tender and cooked perfectly. The marinade required no sauce on the steak. It was wonderful just as is! My husband and I will definitely be coming back!
