Sage Cafe - (Near Lakeside, CA)

Joe Davis My son and I went in after golf and sat the bar.Ashley took our drink order and we looked over the food menu. I asked about the Shepherds Pie and she said it was good...she wasnt lying. It was really good and so was the Guinness I washed it down with. Ashley was great and she made sure we were doing Ok with drinks or anything else we needed. I asked her about their Chicken Curry and she said it wealy great so I told if I ever made it back Id try it. Well...a couple of days later my wife and I were looking for lunch so we went back. We sat at a table and were lucky enough to get Ashley again. I asked for a Half & Half ( Harp and Guinness ) and when she brought it to me it was perfect. The chicken Curry was really really good. Im still craving it back here in the Chicago area. My wife had the Reuben which she loved. I love Fibbar Magees and wish it was near me, great food, great staff and a comfortable atmosphere.

Soleo This place is a vibe! Food here is great, and everything was so fresh. The Brisket melts in your mouth and the portions are large and filling. Angela, our server was on top of everything and super welcoming. She even brought us hot towels after we finished our meal! They truly thought of the smallest details.

Lailian Park We saw they have amazing google reviews, just casually visiting. We had great brunch,all of the servers were awesome and welcoming. We asked for their signature menu and dessert, one of our servers explained all the details of the restaurant menu ! The corned beef sandwich was huge big. All the layers of the beef looked cool,juicy and tasty! Make sure you request the fresh crunch cucumber pickles and cabbage pickles with the corned beef(no additional charge)

Kris Clemente Eskina is a warm retreat for breakfast and lunch. I had their savory meat crepes and was not disappointed. The meat was tender and succulent. The atmosphere is cozy and accommodating. The staff made me feel welcome. The café de Olla is a well received drink, even for non-coffee drinkers I recommend it. It is a sweet and warm treat of coffee, cinnamon and piloncillo thats perfect to relax and unwind with. I definitely recommend coming here if youre in the area and want to chill. Parking can be tough in the area, be on the lookout for street-side parking and maybe a walk to the restaurant. My rest and recharge here was amazing and I would come again.

Susan Downard Party of 5- a fabulous meal. Four of us had lamb chops and the other had eggplant parm with pasta. We appreciated the complimentary bruschetta and rolls with butter. The Malbec wine was excellent. Service was fantastic- our server was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the piano music. Free surface lot parking on both sides of the restaurant. The locals in my party recently rediscovered this neighborhood gem- noticed many regulars were dining there as they were greeted like old friends.

Amby Russell Absolutely delectable! These are hands down the best burgers I’ve ever had — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The fried zucchini spears with Cajun seasoning are incredible (definitely a must-try!), and their homemade sauces are out of this world — rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Apollo Burger has officially ruined all other burger joints for me — it’s that good!
